*Why we celebrate _EID-UL-ADHA_🌙?*
Muslims celebrate Eid ul-Adha🌸to honor Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham) unwavering devotion andh obedience to God, demonstrated by his willingness to sacrifice his own son. When God saw Ibrahim's absolute submission, He spared the boy and provided a ram to be sacrificed instead.
*The festival's core purposes include:*
*1.Commemorating the "Great Sacrifice":*
Honoring the historic test of faith and God's mercy.
*2.Practicing Qurbani:*
The ritual sacrifice of a livestock animal (like a sheep, goat, camel or cow), symbolizing detachment from worldly desires.🤍
*3.Charity and Community:*
The meat is divided into three equal parts: one for the immediate family, one for relatives and friends, and one strictly donated to the poor and needy.😇
*4.Concluding the Hajj:*
The festival directly follows the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage in MECCA.🌝
