We are pleased to announce that Deepayan Basu has secured a Pre Placement Offer from ZS Associates as Decision Analyst Associate.

A winger on the football field and an all-round entertainer off it, Deepayan has been one of the most vibrant personalities of the batch. Whether it's performing with his music band, captivating an audience with his public speaking skills, or somehow managing to be the first one to arrive at every examination hall, he has always had a knack for standing out. Known for his endless stories, social charm, iconic batting stance, and his legendary love and hate relationship with the Prayukti Lift, Deepayan has built quite a reputation over the years. From football and basketball to table tennis, badminton, and practically every sport known to mankind, Deepayan can be found everywhere. And when it comes to celebrations, few can rival him. A legendary house-party host and the life of every gathering, he has a unique ability to bring people together and ensure that every event turns into a memorable one.

A dependable friend, a lively presence, and someone who has made college life infinitely more entertaining for those around him, Deepayan now adds a significant achievement to his journey, securing a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from ZS Associates as a Decision Analytics Associate.

We are pleased to announce that Agnish Saha has secured a Pre Placement Offer from ZS Associates as Decision Analyst Associate.

Opening the Placement Chart for Batch ’26 is none other than the man, the myth, the legend — Agnish Saha.

From negotiating with HRs to navigating the responsibilities of Arena Convenorship, Agnish has been a constant presence on campus. At almost any hour of any day, chances are you'll find him somewhere around Jadavpur, tirelessly getting things done. And of course, one cannot overlook his special affection for the Chemical Department, where he can often be spotted in the evenings, racket in hand, giving his opponents a rather difficult time on the badminton court. The False 9 on the football field, Agnish has consistently amazed batchmates and juniors alike with his impeccable wit, infectious energy, and uncanny ability to handle even the most chaotic situations. Whether it was sacrificing himself as a professor’s “adopted son” for the greater good of the batch or guiding friends through challenging interview processes, he has always stepped up whenever needed.

A dependable friend, a relentless worker, and a true pillar of the batch, the Battery Man now powers his way to a remarkable achievement, securing a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from ZS Associates as a Decision Analytics Associate.

We are pleased to announce that Aditya Bhattacharya and Sudipta Pakhira have been selected for Research Intern Roles at TCS Research & Innovation.

If there’s one person who balances calmness with cheerful energy, it’s Aditya. He can stay quiet and composed, yet easily become amicable with everyone around him. Beyond maintaining a decent GPA, his real passion lies in solving problems and working on research projects. From electronics and circuit discussions to spiritual conversations, Aditya enjoys exploring ideas deeply. Calm, curious, and cheerful—his presence naturally makes conversations meaningful and enjoyable.

Sudipta is that person who balances academics with enthusiasm. Along with being good in his studies, he actively takes part in department activities and programs with great energy. Amicable, cheerful, and ambitious, he carries a positive presence wherever he goes. Though he may seem introverted at first, his unexpected jokes can easily make everyone laugh. From sports to lab work, Sudipta shows both passion and expertise, making him someone who quietly stands out in many different ways.

We are pleased to announce that Saptarshi Garai has been selected for Technology Consultant Intern Role at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Some people lead with authority, some with intelligence and then there’s Saptarshi Garai, managing everything with an effortlessly casual vibe. With exceptional people-handling skills, he balances responsibility and chaos surprisingly well. One moment he is incredibly sweet and supportive, and the next slightly cracked in the funniest way possible(showing a wide bandwidth of emotions). Admired for his management and decision-making abilities, he will be serving as the Placement Coordinator for the upcoming season. The IOTA Club also witnessed remarkable growth during his tenure, enough for people to wonder whether he was managing a club or secretly running a startup. Aindree Chatterjee— one of those people who somehow manages to be incredibly responsible and completely chaotic in the most loveable way at the same time. Designer at E-Cell, ethical to the core, dependable in every situation, and the kind of person who genuinely puts effort into everything she does. Whether it’s learning guitar, working on random AI/ML projects, or just helping people around her, she always does things with sincerity and care. She’s organised yet creative without trying too hard, and professional while still communicating almost entirely through cat stickers. Honestly, one of the rare people who make competence and kindness look effortless.

Sharp, witty, and incredibly intelligent, he has always stood out with his presence and quick thinking. Parthiv is also famously known as the group’s “human database” — somehow always knowing every random detail about everyone around. Add to that his unmatched sense of humor, perfectly timed dark jokes, and endless entertainment, and you get someone who can light up any room instantly.

Anish’s journey reflects creativity, dedication, and continuous growth. From turning his passion into real-world projects to achieving this remarkable milestone, he has truly inspired everyone around him with his hard work and determination.

To put it simply, Bodhiswata is a standout talent who pairs exceptional technical competence with highly effective, confident communication. Securing a Digital Intern role at Texas Instruments is a well-deserved milestone that highlights his excellence in digital design and architecture. Recognized for his sharp analytical skills and articulate nature, Bodhiswata has earned immense respect and a stellar rapport with the faculty across the department. His ability to approach complex digital systems with a focused, visionary mindset makes him a brilliant problem solver.

Dishika’s journey to TI is the perfect example of what happens when you trust the process. There were plenty of times when the immediate results weren't showing up, but she never stopped putting in the hours. Quietly grinding, staying focused on digital design, and keeping absolute faith in her capabilities—she just knew that the hard work would click eventually. This internship is the well-deserved reward for all that silent perseverance and self-belief.

We are pleased to announce that Saptaparna Bagchi, Souvik Karmakar, SK Jabed Islam, and Priyarup Chakrabarty have been selected for Analog Intern Roles at Texas Instruments.

Some people are genuinely rare, and Saptaparna Bagchi is one of them. Whether it’s helping someone out, listening patiently or simply being kind without expecting anything back, she does it naturally. An incredibly talented photographer as well as an amazing chess player and one of the most logical people to argue with. From sessions of 29 to analog design, she somehow manages to do everything gracefully. And of course, her loyalty to CR7 needs a separate mention. But beyond all her talents, what truly makes her special is her heart. Genuine, caring, intelligent, and unforgettable.

When it comes to analog design, Souvik operates on an entirely different level. Securing an Analog Intern role at Texas Instruments is a direct reflection of his dedication and rare, intuitive approach to complex circuit design. What truly sets him apart, however, is his deep-rooted devotion. Celebrated across our batch for his 'dharmik' image, he brings an admirable sense of calm, clarity, and spiritual groundedness to both life and engineering.

Jabed is the perfect example of someone who can light up an entire room without forcing it. From nonstop jokes and chaos to suddenly becoming serious when responsibility calls, he balances fun and focus in the most natural way possible. He’s the kind of person who makes college life feel less stressful and a lot more memorable. Behind all the laughter is someone reliable, hardworking, and genuinely caring—and that’s what makes people love having him around.

If knowledge had a human form mixed with zero attendance and unlimited confidence, it would probably be Priyarup. Cracking an Analog Design role at Texas Instruments while barely appearing in college feels completely normal for someone like him. Add his laid-back vibe, sharp sarcasm, and ability to casually drop genius-level facts mid-conversation, and you get someone who’s impossible not to admire.

Beyond his technical prowess, our batch's beloved 'Cancer' brings immense energy to the group—be it showcasing tactical skills on the football field or keeping everyone lively. As the batch's most strictly single intern, his casual yet focused mindset makes him a truly brilliant problem solver.

If there’s one person who proves that silence can carry confidence louder than words, it’s Swarup. He doesn’t need attention to stand out—his knowledge and calm presence do that automatically. Whether it’s solving technical problems or giving unexpectedly smart replies to a random conversation, Swarup always leaves people impressed without trying. Composed and effortlessly intelligent—he’s someone whose presence speaks long before he does.

Mohok is an exceptional talent whose academic and technical achievements speak volumes. Securing an Analog Intern role at Texas Instruments alongside achieving an extraordinary GATE All India Rank (AIR) 9 is a testament to his phenomenal dedication and intellect. He is distinguished by his outstanding problem-solving capabilities and an uncommonly sharp intuition for analog design. He tackles intricate engineering challenges with a level of clarity and depth that is truly rare

Udit Paul is someone who stands firmly by his decisions, and that’s what makes him truly unique.
