International Yoga Day at Bolpur Center

Treasures of Innocence celebrated International Yoga Day at the Bolpur Center with enthusiastic participation from children and women. Through yoga postures, stretching exercises, and breathing techniques, participants experienced the benefits of fitness, focus, and relaxation.
The session encouraged everyone to embrace yoga as a simple yet powerful practice for a healthier and happier life. The celebration concluded with refreshments and joyful smiles all around.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Treasures of Innocence organized a joyful and engaging yoga session at Briji Center. Children enthusiastically participated in various yoga postures and breathing exercises, learning the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.
To make the celebration even more enjoyable, refreshments were distributed among the children after the session. The event created a positive and energetic atmosphere, encouraging healthy habits and overall well-being.

Heritage Drawing Competition

Every monument, folk tale, festival, river, song, and tradition carries a story of who we are. Through the Heritage Drawing Competition, Treasures of Innocence engages children to embark on a creative journey to discover and celebrate the rich heritage of India and Bengal. Uniting young voices across all districts of West Bengal through art, culture, and heritage.

This competition is more than an artistic event it is an opportunity for young minds to connect with their roots, express their imagination, and reflect on the cultural treasures that unite us across generations. From magnificent historical landmarks and vibrant folk traditions to local customs and unsung stories, participants are encouraged to bring their vision of heritage to life through colors and creativity.

Empowering marginalized children across West Bengal through art, creativity, and a deeper connection to our shared heritage, this initiative seeks to create a space where every child can learn, express, and thrive. Through artistic expression, we aim to nurture confidence, cultural awareness, and a sense of belonging among young participants.

At Treasures of Innocence, we believe that preserving heritage begins with understanding and appreciating it. By engaging young artists across West Bengal in this celebration of culture and history, we hope to inspire pride, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility towards safeguarding our shared legacy.

Drawing Competition: “Heritage of India and West Bengal”
Every student is invited to create a drawing based on the heritage of their district, locality, or region. Through colors and creativity, they can showcase the rich culture, history, traditions, folk art, architecture, festivals, and unique identity of their community. ✨
Treasures of Innocence has initiated this Drawing Competition with the objective of helping children understand, appreciate, and connect with their own cultural roots and heritage. By exploring and illustrating the traditions of their surroundings, students will gain a deeper understanding of the history and values that shape their communities.

🌟 STEM Session at Balia Nafar Chandra Balika Vidyalaya 🌟
After the summer vacation, students of Classes VI and VII enthusiastically participated in engaging STEM sessions conducted by Treasures of Innocence. Through interactive discussions, model demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and quizzes, students explored important scientific concepts such as Light, Food Chain, and Environment & Interdependence of Living Organisms.
The sessions encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and active learning. Students also received valuable information about the Medha Anweshan Scholarship 2026 through an awareness and guidance session.
A wonderful day of learning, exploration, and scientific discovery! 🔬✨

Internship Appreciation for Rohini Goswami
Rohini Goswami, a Class IX student from Modern High School for Girls, successfully completed her internship with Treasures of Innocence. Despite her young age, she carried out every responsibility with sincerity, dedication, and enthusiasm.
Throughout her internship, she actively engaged in teaching young children, conducting Spoken English classes, creating social media content and videos, and supporting various educational and creative activities. She performed all her tasks with great attention, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
Her commitment, confidence, and willingness to learn were truly commendable. We appreciate her hard work and valuable contribution to Treasures of Innocence and wish her continued success in all her future endeavors. 🌟

🌸 Menstrual Hygiene Day Awareness Program 🌸
28th May is observed worldwide as Menstrual Hygiene Day, dedicated to raising awareness about menstrual health, hygiene, and the importance of breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation.
On this occasion, Treasures of Innocence successfully organized a menstrual health awareness program for women and adolescent girls. The session focused on scientific understanding of menstruation, proper hygiene practices, menstrual health management, and the importance of addressing myths and misconceptions with confidence and dignity.
To support menstrual hygiene, sanitary napkins and inner garments were distributed among the participants. The program encouraged women and girls to openly discuss menstrual health, prioritize self-care, and make informed choices for their well-being.
Together, we continue to work towards a future where every woman and girl can manage menstruation safely, confidently, and with dignity. 🌿
