About Us
The Society ‘The Catholic Diocese of Lucknow’ works for the welfare of the people in the area through a variety of services in health, educational rehabilitation and many other fields.
To see and bring out the best in others is one of the most precious gifts one person can give to another. Keeping this vision in mind Rt.Rev. Dr. Albert D’Souza, the former Bishop of Lucknow dreamt of an educational institution that would provide not only material education, that is the knowledge of subjects but the holistic approach to life. He thought of special schools that would cater to the needs of special children. His dream was being fulfilled when “Navdeep School” for M.R. in hussainganj came into existence.
We the sisters of Franciscan CLarist Congregation (F.C.C) accepting the invitation of the Bishop of Lucknow started the institution. At present Rt. Rev. Dr. Gerald John Mathias, Bishop of Lucknow is encouraging us to go forward to fulfill our mission.
