The students of Amrit Indo Canadian Academy proudly participated in the “Future in Lens” One-Take Filmmaking Workshop held at Shifali International School in collaboration with FutureLens. The workshop provided young filmmakers with an exciting platform to explore creativity, storytelling, and filmmaking through an innovative one-take challenge.

Competing among several schools, the students displayed outstanding teamwork, direction, and cinematic creativity. Their remarkable performance impressed both the audience and the judges, earning them the prestigious “Best Director” Award and bringing laurels to the academy.

The workshop offered students valuable hands-on exposure to the world of filmmaking and helped them understand the dedication, coordination, and creativity that go behind the camera.

📚✍️ Punjabi Dictation Inter-Section Competition ✍️📚

“ਮਾਂ ਬੋਲੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ, ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਬਣਦਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਾਣ।” 🌸

An enthusiastic Punjabi Dictation Inter-Section Competition for Grades 3, 4, and 5 was successfully conducted at Amrit Indo Canadian Academy. The activity aimed to strengthen students’ Punjabi vocabulary, pronunciation, listening skills, and spelling accuracy while encouraging confidence and healthy competition.

Students participated with great zeal and showcased excellent command over their mother tongue. Their dedication and enthusiasm made the event truly memorable and inspiring.

Such competitions help students stay connected with their rich cultural heritage and develop a deeper love and respect for the Punjabi language. 🌿

🌟 Hands-on Learning Experience – Grade 2 🌟

At , our Grade 2 students enthusiastically participated in exciting science activities based on the concepts of Sink and Float, Air Pressure, and Density of Liquids. 🧪✨

🔹 Sink and Float Activity
Students explored different objects to observe whether they sink or float in water. They discovered that materials behave differently based on their properties.

🔹 Air Pressure Experiment
Through a simple yet fascinating experiment, students learned that air occupies space and exerts pressure.

🔹 Density of Liquids Experiment
Students observed how different liquids form colorful layers due to variations in density, making science both fun and meaningful.

These engaging activities promoted curiosity, observation skills, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts through experiential learning. 🌈🔬

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy proudly organized an inspiring NCC activity under the guidance of 4 Punjab Air Squadron NCC, Ludhiana, in which second-year cadets enthusiastically participated.

The cadets presented a powerful role play based on the Indo-Pak War of 1965, showcasing the courage, sacrifice, discipline, and patriotism of the Indian Armed Forces. Through their remarkable performance, the cadets highlighted the importance of teamwork, unity, and dedication towards the nation.

The activity proved to be a meaningful learning experience, motivating students to develop a deep sense of respect and pride for our brave soldiers and the country.

🏅 BAGLESS DAY CELEBRATION – CLASS VII 🏏⚽🏀

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy organized an exciting and energetic Bagless Day for the students of Class VII on 16 May 2026. The event aimed to provide students with joyful and activity-based learning experiences beyond classrooms and textbooks. The school campus was filled with enthusiasm, cheers, teamwork, and sportsmanship as students actively participated in various sports competitions including Cricket, Football, and Basketball.

🏏 Cricket Competition – 1st Position (VII-F)
The Cricket team of VII-F showcased excellent batting, bowling, and fielding skills throughout the competition. The winning team members were Mankirat Singh, Tanveer Singh, Jasnoor Singh, Ravneet Mehmi, Rudhar Chopra, Elkampreet Singh, Abhishek Gupta, Karanveer Singh, Jasjot Singh, Danvir Singh (VII-E), and Nischay (VII-E). Their outstanding coordination and team spirit helped them secure the first position.

⚽ Football Competition – 1st Position (VII-G)
The VII-G football team displayed remarkable speed, coordination, discipline, and sportsmanship during the matches. The winners included Saksham, Karamveer Singh, Parmeet Singh, Ryansh, Joshvir Singh, Manav, Manveer Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Sangam (VII-B), Jagjot Singh (VII-A), and Sukhmanjot (VII-A). Their excellent teamwork and determination led them to victory.

⚽ Football Competition – 2nd Position (VII-F)
The VII-F football team also performed exceptionally well and impressed everyone with their dedication and enthusiasm. The team members included Arshnoor Singh, Navdeep Singh, Parav, Gurnoor Singh, A***n, Ekamveer Singh, Piyush, Rohanpreet Singh, Suraj, Bharat, and Ekampreet Singh. Their hard work and coordination earned them the runner-up position.

🏀 Basketball Competition – 1st Position (VII-C)
The VII-C basketball team demonstrated excellent coordination and powerful shooting skills during the competition. The winning team members were Manreet, Ridham, Mansirat, Harleen, and Prabhnoor. Their confidence and teamwork were highly appreciated by everyone.

🏀 Basketball Competition – 2nd Position (VII-F Girls Team)
The VII-F girls’ basketball team participated with great enthusiasm and confidence. The team members included Parvleen Kaur, Prabhnoor Kaur, Mannat Kaur, Mansirat Kaur, and Jaismeen Kaur. Their commendable performance and team spirit earned them the second position.

AMRIT INDO CANADIAN ACADEMY HONOURS NCC CADETS WITH ‘A’ CERTIFICATES

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy organized a prestigious felicitation ceremony on its campus today to honor the exceptional dedication of its National Cadet Corps (NCC) wing. The event was marked by the formal distribution of the highly coveted NCC ‘A’ Certificates to the passed-out batch of cadets who successfully cleared their institutional training and evaluation.

A total of 11 exemplary cadets were awarded certificates during the ceremony, acknowledging their rigorous training, discipline, and commitment to community service.
The certificates were presented by the School Principal, Mrs. Jaskiran Kaur, alongside Subedar Rashpal Saab and Second Officer Jagjit Singh, in the presence of the school management.

The dignitaries lauded the young cadets for maintaining flawless alignment, high morale, and peak physical standards throughout their tenure, balancing their senior
secondary academic responsibilities beautifully with the demands of the uniform. Blessing the cadets on this momentous occasion, the Worthy President of the Academy, S.
Harminder Singh Ji, expressed his immense pride and shared an inspiring message. He stated: “Character and courage are the true foundations of leadership. Our mission has always
