A Parent Orientation Programme for the academic session 2026–27 was successfully conducted on the school campus for the parents of Nursery, LKG and UKG students. The programme aimed to familiarize the parents with the school environment, curriculum, teaching methodology and the guidelines for the new academic session. Orientation also provided the insight of co - curricular activities, daily routine, safety measures, school policies and the support system available for the students.
Principal Darspreet Kaur also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the parents and teachers in shaping the students. The session concluded with the interactive discussion where parents shared their queries and suggestions. The school authorities assured continuous corporation and support to ensure best learning environment for every child.+

Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana, in collaboration with RAMS Business Analytics Pvt. Ltd. under the Global Academic Assessment System, conducted the English Language Proficiency Test for students of Classes III to X. Out of 15 participating students, 10 students attained various positions in centralized marking, bringing pride and honour to the institution.
Japneet Kaur (IX-C) and Surveen Kaur (V-D) secured First position. Manmeet Kaur (VI-D), Naunidh Singh (VI-A) and Sehajpal Singh (VI-E) stood First, Second and Third respectively. Dilraj Singh (IV-D) achieved First, Meharwan Kaur (IV-C) obtained Second and Wahenoor Kaur (IV-E) earned Third position. Manreet Kaur (III-B) bagged First and Guntaas Kaur (III-B) received Second position. The achievers were honoured with medals and certificates for their commendable performances.
Principal Darspreet Kaur congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue participating in such enriching academic activities.

Dotika, a student of Guru Nanak Public School brought laurels to the institution by securing 3rd position in ‘Hunar Punjab Da 2026’ dance competition under the Bollywood Dance category (Age Group: 4–9 years) at the ‘SAWDESHI Festival’ held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Competing with several talented participants, she displayed excellent stage presence and dancing skills at such a young age.
The Principal congratulated the young achiever for her wonderful performance and wished her success in her future endeavours.

She was also honoured by Mata Vipanpreet Kaur from Gurudwara Singh Sabha and Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women for her dedication and visionary leadership.

Tiny tots of Classes Nursery to II of Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension participated in the prestigious Conquest Olympiad, known for promoting analytical thinking and conceptual understanding. The competition provided a wonderful platform for young learners to showcase their abilities with great enthusiasm and confidence. Special Recognition Awards were presented to high-performing participants for their exceptional conceptual understanding and excellent problem-solving skills.

The tiny tots of Class Nursery of Guru Nanak Public School participated in a delightful and exciting activity 'Cooking Without Fire' with great enthusiasm. The objective of this activity was to introduce children to healthy eating habits while enhancing their creativity and motor skills.
Dressed as little chefs with cute caps and bright smiles, the children enthusiastically prepared simple and nutritious dishes like fruit salads, sandwiches, and colorful snacks — all without using fire.Through this hands-on experience, the young learners not only explored different tastes and textures but also learned the importance of hygiene and teamwork.The activity truly turned learning into a playful celebration, making it a memorable day for our Nursery stars. 🌟
