World Music Day 2026 has been celebrated in our school on 21 June 2026 (Sunday) to promote music as a universal language that unites people beyond cultural and geographical boundaries. The day, also known as Fête de la Musique or Make Music Day, encourages both amateur and professional musicians to perform freely in public spaces.

DAV Public School, Midnapore enthusiastically celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2026. Students, teachers and staff members gathered together to promote the message of health, harmony, and well-being through yoga.

The Principal addressed the gathering and highlighted how yoga helps develop concentration, self-discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among students.

🌍 World Environment Day 2026: A Year-Long Celebration

At DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL MIDNAPUR, World Environment Day 2026 is not just a one-day event but the beginning of a year-long commitment towards environmental stewardship and sustainable living.

The school has launched a series of activities to be conducted throughout the academic year, including tree plantation drives, waste segregation initiatives, plastic-free campus campaigns, water and energy conservation programs, nature walks, eco-club activities, poster-making competitions, cleanliness drives, and awareness campaigns. Students will actively participate in maintaining green spaces, adopting sustainable practices, and spreading environmental awareness within the community.
