The Department of Computer Science Engineering Chandigarh University proudly organized the Coursera Course Launch Ceremony, introducing industry-focused courses created through technical training and MOOCS team, to enhance students’ employability and placement readiness: NOS for Placements, DSA for Employability, DBMS for Employability, Java for Placements

The event was graced by Prof (Dr.) RS Bawa (Hon’ble Advisor to Chancellor and Founder Vice Chancellor) and Dr. Navneet Singh (Executive Director, CRC), who officially launched the courses and emphasized the importance of technical excellence, continuous learning, and career readiness to the students.

This initiative, led by Dr. Sandeep Singh Kang (Associate Director, CSE), aims to equip students and faculty with globally recognized skills and industry-relevant knowledge.

The occasion also marked the beginning of the Domain Winning Camp Orientation - a comprehensive pre-placement training program designed to prepare students for aptitude tests, coding rounds, technical interviews, and professional success.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Chandigarh University successfully conducted the Online Orientation Session for 𝗜𝗻-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 with enthusiastic participation from students eager to explore emerging technologies and industry-oriented learning opportunities.

Prof. (Dr.) Sachin Ahuja, ED UIE, emphasized the importance of continuous learning, skill development, and practical exposure in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Singh Kang, Associate Director, CSE, guided students about the structure, opportunities, and expected outcomes of the Summer Training Program, while Er. Gagandeep Singh, Deputy HoD, CSE, encouraged students to actively participate and enhance their technical as well as professional competencies through hands-on and industry-oriented training.

The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 proudly inaugurated the 𝗔𝗪𝗮𝗗𝗛 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿-𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 (𝗖𝗣𝗦) 𝗟𝗮𝗯 in collaboration with 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗥𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗿 and 𝗶-𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗔𝗪𝗮𝗗𝗛.

The lab marks a major step towards strengthening interdisciplinary learning, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration in emerging technologies including IoT, AI & ML, Robotics & Embedded Systems, Smart Technologies.
