Inter-House Co-Curricular Activities | April–May 2026
Yadavindra Public School, Mohali witnessed a season of remarkable talent, healthy competition, and creative expression during the Inter-House Co-Curricular Activities held in April and May 2026. Students across grades participated enthusiastically in a wide range of literary, cultural, artistic, and intellectual competitions, reflecting the school's commitment to holistic development and learning beyond the classroom.
The competitions saw some outstanding results. Nalagarh House won the Punjabi Poetry Recitation Competition for Grades VI to VIII and emerged victorious in the English Debate for Grades IX to XII. Patiala House secured the top position in the Heritage Quiz for Grades IX to XII, while Ranjit House won the Science Quiz for the same grade group. Students of Grades III to V also impressed with their confident and eloquent performances in the English Poetry Recitation Competition.
These events were a true celebration of the vibrant spirit, talent, and excellence that define Yadavindra Public School, Mohali.

Leaders Aren't Born. They Are Built Through Experience.
Four students of YPS Mohali proudly represented the school at the BSAI Leadership Conclave 2026 held in Mussoorie from 8th to 10th May. Bringing together nearly 150 students from nine schools, the conclave served as a vibrant platform for young minds to explore leadership through communication, teamwork, empathy, confidence, and decision-making activities.
Through engaging sessions, collaborative challenges, and meaningful interactions, the students gained valuable exposure beyond classrooms and returned with experiences that will shape them into future leaders.
Congratulations to Yashjeet Singh Randhawa, Jasleen Kaur, Jayani Singla, and Bismaad Singh Sidhu for their enthusiastic participation and commendable representation of the school.
We also appreciate Ms. Varuna Mehta for accompanying and mentoring the students during the conclave.

The Annual Higher Education Fair 2026 at YPS Mohali turned the campus into a global hub of aspirations, opportunities, and conversations that could shape tomorrow.
With 90 leading universities from India and across the globe under one roof - from Ashoka, Krea and Shiv Nadar to Imperial College London, University of Toronto, Waterloo, Fordham and more - students explored not just courses, but possibilities.
From scholarships and campus life to applications, careers, and dream destinations, the fair gave students a front-row seat to the future they wish to create.

It’s about discovering purpose, confidence, and a world bigger than boundaries.
Where Talent Takes Centre Stage
The Inter-House Music and Dance Competition 2025 for Classes VI–XII at Yadavindra Public School Mohali was a spectacular celebration of music, rhythm, creativity, and cultural expression. Held on 13 May 2025, the event featured enthralling performances across Qawwali, Western Song, Hindi Solo, and Bhangra, with students captivating the audience through their confidence, passion, and artistic brilliance.
Tagore House secured the First Position, followed by Ranjit House in Second Position and Nalagarh House in Third Position.
The competition beautifully reflected the spirit of teamwork, healthy competition, and artistic excellence, making it a truly memorable experience for all present.

Adventure awaits!
One of the most awaited traditions of Yadavindra Public School Mohali - the Senior Wing Annual Treks 2026 - is all set to begin from 25 May to 29 May 2026.
More than 800 students along with 60 teachers will embark on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
These treks are not just about reaching destinations, but about discovering courage, building teamwork, embracing resilience, and creating memories that last a lifetime. The Himalayas are calling once again!
We wish all participants a safe, exciting, and enriching experience filled with adventure and learning.

Proud Moment for Yadavindra Public School Mohali
Our talented students participated with immense enthusiasm in the IPSC Dance Festival Sanskar Nartiya Rangutsav 2026, hosted by The Sanskaar Valley School from 30th April to 4th May 2026.
Representing the school in the Lok Sparsh Folk Dance category, the team delivered a vibrant and energetic Bhangra performance that captivated both the judges and the audience.
We are delighted to share that the team won the Most Vibrant and Energetic Performance Award along with certificates for their outstanding presentation.

Yadavindra Public School, Mohali proudly hosted the Ninth Edition of its prestigious Inter-School IT Fest, TECHX 2026, on May 9, 2026. The event brought together nearly 150 students from 19 reputed schools across the Tricity and Punjab region, competing across events rooted in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Coding, 3D Designing, and Multimedia.

Shining Stars of ICSE & ISC 2026
Another year. Yet another moment of immense pride for the YPS Mohali family. Our students have once again delivered exceptional results, reinforcing a legacy defined by consistency, dedication, and the drive to excel.
The ICSE Class X cohort achieved a 100% pass result, with 62 students scoring above 90%, 23 above 95%, and all 131 students securing First Division. The ISC Class XII students mirrored this excellence with a 100% pass result, 29 students above 90%, 12 above 95%, and all 53 students securing First Division.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that many of these academic achievers have also excelled on the sports field - balancing discipline in classrooms with determination in arenas, truly embodying the spirit of holistic development at YPS Mohali.
These results are a testament to the collective effort of students, the unwavering commitment of teachers, and the constant support of parents.
