Rules and Regulations of the School
1. Parents and guardians must be present during admission of their wards and sign the register confirming that their wards will follow all the rules and regulations of the school.

2. The students must be present before commencement of the school hour and cannot leave the school without written permission of the teachers. They cannot leave the school compound during the school.

3. The students attend the school only wearing the school uniform.

4. The students will not loiter outside the classroom during the class. If any student found outside the classroom during the class, the school authority will initiate strong action against the student.

5. The students must not damage any property of the school. If anyone found guilty of damaging the property of the school,(like- any furniture, electric wiring, door, windows etc.) the school authority will take strict action against the student.

6. The students must keep the classroom and the school compound neat and clean. They will cooperate with the school authority in maintaining cleanliness.

7. The students cannot bring mobile phone in the school compound without any prior permission. If they bring mobile for any specific purpose they must inform the school authority and submit it to the school authority before the school begins.

8. The students must maintain discipline in the school and help the school authority in maintaining the discipline.

9. The students must follow the school diary and they must complete it accordingly.

10. The students must participate in every educational activity inside and outside the classroom.

11. The students must follow the school calendar and submit their project work and activity tasks on time.

JIBANTITALA HIGH SCHOOL(H.S) has already completed fifty glorious years of its vibrant existence. The school finds its root in the untiring effort of the local people in eliminating the darkness of ignorance and superstitions and hence plays a pivotal role in the social, cultural and economic development of the community at Nabagram block in Murshidabad District. The school educates pupils from class V to XII from all walks of life without any discrimination and thereby shapes their life by preparing them to meet future challenges.

The school, founded in 1968, is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and west Bengal Council of Higher Seconadry Education (WBCHSE) and teaches in Bengali medium. At the secondary level all regular subjects are taught and at the Higher Secondary level the school offers Sanskrit, Education, Geography, History and Political Science along with the other compulsory subjects. The school also provides Computer Education to its pupils. Our dedicated teachers and staffs regularly guide and monitor to ensure all round development of the pupils.The school also has a playground and a library. The school also has a computer and a geography laboratory.

The school embraces greater social and moral responsibilities and therefore engages the students in various activities.There is a child Cabinet where the students get a chancce to engage themselves with the well being of the school.In the eco club , named 'Shyamali', they look after the environment of the school and its surroundings. Cultural and physical activities like observing special days, annual sports, inter class kabadi, cricket and football matches are held regularly. The wall magazines 'Korak' and 'Anandadhara' and printed school magazine ' Aikataan celebrate literary and artistic flair of the students. The girl students can get training for self defense. The Career Counseling Hub in the school moulds future dream of the students. There is a continuous endeavour to bring scientific outlook among the students through science fair and other competitions.

Though there are some infrastructural restraints the school strives to become a centre of excellence in the district. In this direction cooperation, suggestion and participation of all the stakeholders are earnestly solicited. In this pandemic situation the guardians are requsted to take care of their wards and look after their studies. They can contact the school in case of any help or suggestions.
