Sindhi Hindi Vidya Samiti Nagpur

A 7-day NSS camp was successfully organized by the NSS unit of Dada Ramchand Bakhru Sindhu Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, at K.T.R. School, Balabhaupeth, from 11th to 17th January 2025. A total of 57 enthusiastic volunteers actively participated in the camp. The event was inaugurated by Shri A.M. Mundra, marking the beginning of a week filled with impactful activities and learning experiences.

Each day began with an energizing yoga session, followed by Shramdaan activities such as cleanliness drives and street plays, creating awareness among the community. During the day, volunteers and students from KTR School, SHVS School, and M.R. Sindhi Hindi School attended enriching guest lectures on diverse topics like human trafficking, self-defense, health and nutrition, CPR demonstration, environmental protection, women’s hygiene, and discouraging begging.

The camp also hosted a free health check-up camp, offering services like eye, dental, general physical, BP, sugar, and women’s health checkups. Evening sessions were filled with games and cultural programs, ensuring holistic development and engagement for everyone involved.

The camp provided students with a unique opportunity to connect with the community, contribute to social betterment, and gain essential life skills. Dr. Pooja Mohobe, NSS Program Officer, along with her dedicated team, ensured the smooth ex*****on of the camp.

The event received immense support and appreciation from dignitaries like Dr. I.P. Keswani, President of Sindhi Hindi Vidya Samiti, Dr. Vinky Rughwani, Chairman, Shri Niraj Bakhru, General Secretary, Shri Amit Bakhru, Secretary of College Affairs, and Dr. V.M. Pendsey, Principal of DRB Sindhu Mahavidyalaya.
