A Three-Day ATL Workshop and Training Programme (Cluster Level) was successfully conducted at the ATL Lab, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sadam, from 28.04.26 to 30.04.26 with enthusiastic participation from students of Sadam School and nearby cluster schools.
The programme began with a warm welcome address by Mr. Bishal Rai, PGT (Biology).
The programme was attended by the SMC chairperson,Principal, Vice Principal, teaching staff of Sadam School, es**rt teachers from cluster schools, along with the participating students of both the host and cluster schools.
Addressing the gathering, the respected Principal highlighted the objectives of the workshop and training programme and encouraged students to actively participate in hands-on learning and innovation-based activities.
Students were introduced to various sensors, electronic tools, and gadgets, through which they gained basic knowledge of electronics and automation.
With the guidance of the Resource Persons, Mr. Rinku Sir and Mr. Dipendra Sir, students developed Arduino-based projects, with the Car Parking Sensor emerging as a major highlight of the programme.
Students were also trained in the procedures and safe use of 3D printers, during which creative items such as whistles, cubes, and keychains were designed and printed.
Mr. Karma Gyatso Bhutia conducted an engaging session on robotics, during which students successfully built a line-following robotic model.
During the valedictory ceremony, the Principal congratulated the participants for their active involvement and appreciated the support and guidance of the Resource Persons, Assistant Students from CCCT Chisopani College, and the ATL In-Charge along with the ATL team for the successful conduct of the programme.
Tokens of love and certificates of appreciation were presented to the Resource Persons and Assistant Students and certificates of participation were distributed to all student participants.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Uttam Sharma, ICT Faculty, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sadam.
The programme successfully reflected the vision of Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog, promoting creativity, innovation, and experiential learning among students.

Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sadam organised a special programme titled “Honouring the Legacy of the School’s Leadership” on 18th April 2026 to bid an affectionate adieu to the outgoing Class XII students.
The programme commenced with a warm and gracious welcome address by Mrs. Deepa Rai (PGT English), setting a positive and emotional tone for the occasion.
The respected Principal addressed the students and extended his heartfelt best wishes for their future endeavours. In his inspiring message, he emphasized the importance of living a happy and meaningful life, while encouraging students to always support and help the needy, as true success lies in compassion and service to society.
Mrs. Ruth Lepcha (PET) also addressed the gathering, acknowledging the valuable contributions of the Captain Council and other students. She extended her best wishes to all the students as they embark on a new journey ahead.
Students of the present Class XII also delivered speeches, acknowledging the guidance, support and contributions of their seniors to the school.
The outgoing students shared their memorable experiences and expressed sincere gratitude to the school for recognising and honouring their leadership, dedication and contributions.
The programme was gracefully hosted by Shri P. K. Rai (PGT Nepali), who ensured the smooth conduct of the event.
As a mark of love and appreciation, the students were felicitated with certificates and tokens of love.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Babita Pradhan (GT Science), expressing appreciation to all dignitaries, teachers, students, and staff members for making the event a grand success.

This is to inform that students who have got Compartment in Class X and those who wish to improve their exam are advised to finalize the LOC form and deposit the required fee on or before 18th April 2026, as 19th April is Sunday.
Fees for Improvement/Compartment Exam: ₹320 per subject.
A late fee of ₹2000 per subject will be charged from 21.04.2026 to 22.04.2026 after 20th April 2026.

Students must strictly follow the instructions given below while coming to collect their admit cards:

REPORT ON NATURE CAMP

The Eco-Club members of Govt. Senior Secondary School, Sadam organized a Nature Camp at Kitam Bird Sanctuary on 15/12/2025. The programme was supported by the Environment Education Programme, Forest and Environment Department.
Students of Govt. SSS Sadam from Classes IX to XII visited Kitam Bird Sanctuary, which is under the supervision of Range Officer Shri Yogesh S***a, Sir. During the tour, his courteous team provided prominent support and helped the students understand various aspects of the sanctuary. We were also accompanied by a local bird-watching guide, Shri Ratan Dhamala, who shared valuable insights.
The activities conducted during the tour focused on the following areas.
Bird watching
Short hiking
Visit to Kitam Nursery
Clean-up drive
The programme was planned and guided by the Nodal Teacher of the Eco-Club, Govt. SSS Sadam, Mr. Bishal Rai. With his dedicated efforts and the support of es**rt teachers Mr. Pravesh Manger, Mr. G. S. Pradhan and Mr. Tar Tshering Lepcha, the programme was successfully conducted.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Forest Department, Government of Sikkim, for providing such opportunities. The students gained knowledge beyond classroom learning and developed a sense of connection, awareness, and love for nature and biodiversity.
