Passi Junior Sec. School

As part of an art and craft session conducted under the guidance of teacher trainees from D.I.E.T Namchi, a bottle painting activity was organized. Students explored their creativity by painting various designs on bottles using vibrant colours. The activity proved to be highly engaging, enjoyable, and beneficial for enhancing their artistic skills.

Due to the holiday on 14th April on account of Ambedkar Jayanti, a short yet engaging program was conducted on 15th April by our teacher trainees D.I.E.T Namchi. They delivered thoughtful speech and organized an interactive quiz session to involve the students actively. To encourage participation, small gifts were presented to those who responded quickly with correct answers.
The program was not only informative but also lively and enjoyable, making it a truly fruitful experience for all the students.

Our school initiated a meaningful step towards creating a print-rich and stimulating learning environment under the able guidance of our respected teachers, Mr. Suman Tamang Sir and Mr. Sujan Tamang Sir. Their vision and dedication laid a strong foundation for this initiative, inspiring both the teaching and non-teaching staff to come forward and contribute with enthusiasm and commitment. Through collective effort,cooperation and a shared sense of responsibility, the entire school community worked together to bring this idea into action.
This effort marks just the beginning of our journey towards the overall development and improvement of our school environment. With unity, creativity and continuous dedication, we look forward to achieving many more milestones and making our school a better place for learning and growth.

On 4th April 2026, our school conducted a CCA activity along with an energetic Zumba session, organized by teacher trainees from Namchi D.I.E.T. We were truly delighted and overwhelmed to witness their enthusiastic engagement in these activities.
As part of the CCA, a Quiz Competition was conducted. For the senior level, the quiz covered Mathematics and Science, while for the junior level, it included Mathematics and EVS.
The programme was hosted by Mr. Yuncho Hang Limboo(teacher trainee).The judges for the event were Ms. Anjana Rai (PRT) and Ms. Shristi Chettri(Teacher Trainee). The timekeeper for the competition was Mr. Karma Ongchuk Tamang( teacher trainee).
The quiz was conducted by the quiz masters, Mr. Sujan Tamang Sir(GT maths), Mr. Suman Tamang Sir( PRT)and Mr.Yuncho Hang Limboo(Teacher Trainee) who made the session interactive and engaging.
In the senior level, Teesta House emerged as the winner in Mathematics while Rangeet House secured the first position in Science. In the junior level, Teesta House emerged as the winner.
Students participated very actively and showed great enthusiasm throughout the programme, making the event a grand success.

Our school celebrated World Water Day on 20th March as 22nd March was a government holiday. The programme was conducted to create awareness among students about the importance of water.
The event began with a speech by Ms. Anjana Rai who explained the value of water and encouraged students to use it wisely. Her talk helped students understand how essential water is for life.
After the speech a short surprise quiz competition was organised between two houses combining both junior and senior levels. The quiz was conducted by Mr. Raphael Pradhan Sir. The students participated enthusiastically and showed great interest.
At the end of the quiz, one best performer was selected. Sonika Tamang from Class VIII was declared the best performer for her excellent performance.
Finally, our respected HM sir shared his valuable feedback and spoke a few inspiring words about the importance of conserving water.
The programme was informative and engaging,
leaving a meaningful message for all.

On 7th March 2026, our school successfully conducted the second CCA activity of the session-a Nepali spelling competition for both junior and senior levels. The event was hosted by Ms. Anjana Rai.
The spellings were conducted by our respected HM, Mr. Deepak Sharma sir along with Mrs. Sujata Rai ma’am. Students from all houses participated enthusiastically and showcased their language skills with great confidence.
Rangeet House emerged as the winner in both the junior and senior categories, demonstrating outstanding performance.
The programme concluded with valuable feedback shared by Mrs. Jaimati Tamang ma’am, encouraging students to continue improving their language abilities.

The first CCA was held on Saturday, 21st February 2026, in the school premises. An Inter-House Reading Competition was organized for both Junior and Senior levels to encourage students’ reading skills and confidence.
The programme was hosted by Ms. Anjana Rai and the judges for the day were Mr. Raphael Pradhan Sir and Mrs. Bishnu Rai Ma’am. Students participated enthusiastically and the event was conducted successfully in both levels. Rangeet House emerged as the winner.
At the end, Mr. Suman Tamang Sir shared valuable feedback and encouraged all the participants. Overall, the programme was a great success.

Today, our school organized a Teacher–Parents Meeting along with a farewell programme for Ms. Tungsum Rabsel Tamang.

The meeting was held in the presence of our respected Headmaster, the Panchayat President, SMC Vice President, parents, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students. The programme was hosted by Mr. Suman Tamang Sir.

The Headmaster warmly welcomed everyone and addressed the gathering. He highlighted important agendas related to the smooth functioning and overall development of the school. Ms. Anjana Rai also shared additional points for the improvement of academic and other school activities. Mr. Suman Tamang further spoke about several important matters to strengthen school management and student progress.
The Panchayat President, Mrs. Indra D**g, delivered a short and encouraging speech during the meeting. SMC member Mr. Suren Tamang expressed his happiness with the school’s functioning. However, he mentioned the need to improve infrastructure and repair the school computers. He generously promised to repair two computers for the school, which is truly a commendable and supportive gesture.
After the meeting, we continued with the farewell programme for Ms. Tungsum Rabsel Tamang, who has been selected for the prestigious Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme. This is a proud and remarkable achievement for our entire school family.
She was felicitated with garlands by the Headmaster, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and students. Ms. Tungsum delivered a heartfelt speech expressing her gratitude. The Headmaster shared inspiring words for her bright future, and Mr. Suman Tamang spoke on behalf of the school to motivate her and other students to aim high.
The Passi JHS family feels proud of her success and wishes to continue this tradition of achieving excellence through the Chief Minister Scholarship. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to her for a successful future.

On the very first day of the School, textbooks, notebooks, school uniforms, shoes, bags, and raincoats were distributed to the students as per the instructions received from the concerned department. This initiative was carried out to ensure that every student begins the academic session fully prepared and equipped with all the necessary learning materials and essentials.

We teachers went on a picnic to Gurbathan, West Bengal, which offered a welcome break from our busy routine. After days of continuous work, the outing helped us relax and feel refreshed. We enjoyed the natural beauty, spent quality time together and shared many joyful moments. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience for all🌸🌸
