A Parents–Teachers Meeting was held in the school auditorium hall where various important agendas were discussed and communicated to the parents and guardians present. During the meeting, parents/guardians were made aware of the Mandatory Public Disclosure as per the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education. They were also informed about the Capacity Building Programme to be undertaken by all teachers for professional development and enhancement of teaching-learning practices.
The Principal apprised the gathering about the excellent results achieved by both Class X and Class XII students this year and shared that the school will continue striving for even better results in the coming years. He emphasized that for the school to achieve greater success, a closely knitted cooperation among guardians, students, and teachers is essential.
The parents were also informed that 70% attendance is compulsory for all students. The school is focusing not only on quantity but also on quality education and the overall development of students.

For the holistic development of students and as part of Bagless Day observance and Environmental Activities-cum-Field Visit, the Class XII students accompanied by teachers went on a 5 km hiking expedition to Char Dham. The hiking team was flagged off from the school courtyard by Shri Hari Prasad Manger, Principal of PM Shri Govt. Sr. Sec School, Namchi.
The activity aimed to encourage physical fitness, environmental awareness, teamwork, and learning beyond the classroom. Students enthusiastically participated in the hike while enjoying the scenic beauty and natural surroundings of Namchi. Packed lunch was also provided by the school for all the participants.
The school appreciates the efforts of all the teachers and staff members who contributed towards making the field visit safe, educational, and memorable for the students.

On 7th of May 2026, we bid an emotional farewell to our outgoing Class XII students of the 2025 session. The programme witnessed amazing performances by students, teachers, and the outgoing batch, making the occasion truly memorable and heartfelt.
Principal Hari Prasad Manger and Vice Principal Suman Rai delivered emotional, powerful, and insightful speeches, inspiring the students as they prepare to embark on a new journey in life.
The school pours its heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making the programme a grand success — the Social Welfare team for the arrangements, the Decoration team for the beautiful decorations, and the Kitchen Party for preparing the delicious meal served to all the students and guests present.

Today’s morning assembly was marked by a special occasion as the school conducted the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26. A total of 38 Captains and Prefects were formally entrusted with responsibilities across various disciplines to ensure the smooth functioning of the school.
The newly appointed student leaders solemnly took their oath under the guidance of the Principal, pledging to uphold the values and discipline of the institution. The ceremony was further dignified as the Principal and teachers conferred badges, ID cards, and ties upon the students, symbolizing their roles and responsibilities.
The event concluded on a proud note, encouraging the young leaders to carry out their duties with sincerity, dedication, and integrity.

Today, the volleyball ground was filled with an electrifying atmosphere as teachers and students faced off in thrilling matches. The excitement was palpable, with both players and spectators on the edge of their seats throughout. In an impressive display, the female teachers triumphed over the girl students, while the male teachers secured victory against the Boys’ Captain Council. The matches were held as part of the Saturday House activities and Bagless Day, making the day even more engaging and memorable for everyone involved.

Today was a joyous and proud day for NSSS as we celebrate the outstanding performance in the CBSE Class X results. Our school achieved an impressive 98% pass rate. Out of 97 students who appeared for the examination, 95 successfully passed, while 2 students have been placed in the compartmental category.
To mark this excellent achievement, the Principal felicitated the respective subject teachers by offering khadas as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

Provisional Entrance Test Result Declared!
We are pleased to inform that the results of the Provisional Entrance Test are now out.
Candidates who have qualified (Pass/PUC) are eligible to attend classes starting from 15th April 2026.
Candidates whose names appear in the panel list are requested to visit the school on 16th April 2026 along with their parents for counselling.

A total of 223 students took the Provisional Entrance Test for Class XI in various streams held on 8th, 9th and 10th April 2026. Students from different schools appeared for the test with great enthusiasm and discipline. The results will be declared on 13th April 2026 and classes will begin from 15th April 2026. The school wishes all the candidates the very best for their results.
