Hi everyone

We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing fundraiser to join our fundraising team. The successful
candidate will support the team with a particular focus in growing income from special events, major
donors and corporates. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, highly organised and a good
communicator and who has a drive and passion to develop their skills in fundraising to benefit
disadvantaged young women.
Overall purpose
 To work closely with the Director of Fundraising to organise a series of special events.
 To support the Director of Fundraising to raise funds from major donors and corporates.
 To provide support to the Grants and Impact Manager to raise funds from trusts and foundations.
 To provide support to the Individual Giving Manager to raise funds from individual supporters.
 To undertake any other fundraising duties as required, to support the fundraising activities of the team.
Key Activities
Events, major donors and corporates (45% of your time)
 Organise the logistics and manage the administration for special events, including research, sourcing
prizes, liaising with suppliers, organising the guest list, managing donations and helping to run the
events when they happen.
 Support the cultivation and stewardship of major donors, including research, developing
communications, responding to enquiries and managing a small portfolio of donors to achieve set
targets.
 Take an active role in raising funds from companies, including research, developing communications
and proposals and engaging with small to medium companies to encourage them to raise funds to
achieve set targets.
Individual giving, community and sponsored events (25% of your time)
 Support the Individual Giving Manager to develop the Ambassador network by helping to respond to
enquiries, attending events and developing communications.
 Respond and manage specific community fundraising events as required.
 Assist in ensuring supporter records are kept up to date, including communication preferences.
 Assist in keeping donation records up to date including administration such as logging cash donations,
liaising with finance, reconciling data with online platforms
 Draft communications to supporters as required.
Trusts and Foundations (20% of your time)
 Undertake prospect research to identify potential trust and foundation donors.
 Write applications to small trusts to secure funding.
 Draft reports and communications to donors when needed.
Administration and team support (10% of your time)
 Other administrative activity as requested by the fundraising team.
