The guest lecture was organised to supplement the course curriculum of OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT for students of second semester MBA
The resource person gave an elaborate discourse on Total Quality Management (TQM). He touched on the basics of TQM. The lecture was primarily focussed on giving students holistic inputs on the concept of TQM and its relevance to the industry.
The main aspects of lecture were based on the major principles of TQM; how concept of quality has changed over a period of time; various features and benefits of implementing the TQM in an organisation.
Dr. Lalit Sharma also provided brief inputs on various considerations to be kept in mind when one implement TQM.
The students from MBA second semester enthusiastically participated in the interactive lecture.
