Why is it called Good Friday?

“Good Friday is called ‘good’ because, through Christ’s death, God accomplished the redemption of His people. Jesus satisfied the demands of God’s justice, bore the curse of sin and secured forgiveness for all who trust in Him. What seemed like tragedy was actually triumph.” — Ligonier Ministries

At first glance, there seems to be nothing “good” about this day. It marks suffering, injustice and the death of Jesus on a cross. But the meaning of Good Friday is not found only in what happened—it is found in what was accomplished through it.

That is why Christians call this day “good.” Not because of the pain, but because of the promise it fulfilled.

संस्कृत संगम - रचनात्मकता और भाषा का अनूठा मेल! 🎨✨
संस्कृत विषय में कक्षा 6 से 8 के छात्रों ने अपनी रचनात्मकता का प्रदर्शन करते हुए भाषा को खेल-खेल में सीखा। जहाँ कक्षा 6 के नन्हे कलाकारों ने इंद्रधनुष के रंगों के साथ सप्ताह के दिनों के नाम (वासरः) उकेरे 🌈, वहीं कक्षा 7 के छात्रों ने तितली के पंखों पर विलोम शब्दों के जोड़ों को सजाकर विपरीतार्थक शब्दों का ज्ञान प्राप्त किया 🦋। इसी क्रम में, कक्षा 8 के छात्रों ने फूलों की पंखुड़ियों पर संस्कृत के पर्यायवाची शब्द लिखकर अपनी शब्दावली को समृद्ध किया 🌸। इन गतिविधियों ने न केवल छात्रों की कलात्मक अभिव्यक्ति को बढ़ावा दिया, बल्कि संस्कृत जैसे प्राचीन विषय को मनोरंजक और यादगार भी बना दिया। 📚🙏✍️
