On the eve of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 💙 Here is where I pause…

Autism is not something to be fixed — it’s something to be understood.

There’s a rare honesty here.
No pretence. No social masks. Just truth.
They don’t lie. They don’t play games. What you see is real.

For many, work is play and play is work —
the same joy, the same focus, the same immersion.
They notice what we miss and stay with what truly matters.

Maybe that’s why autism matters —
because it quietly asks us to rethink what “normal” even means.

I’m sharing this video as a small window into Oranea—what we’ve built, and what continues to evolve every single day:

𝗜𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟭, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 Oranea Kids it was just an idea… and a lot of unanswered questions.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗽. 𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲. 𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁.
Just a quiet conviction that something needed to be built—for children who were being left behind.

I had no idea what that decision would grow into.

Over the years, that one step turned into milestones I now look back on with both pride and disbelief—
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.
𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗦 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 to create alternate academic pathways.
Bringing SuperSpecial Chef to the world.
Introducing 𝗦𝗮𝗶 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝘆𝗮, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁, where dignity of work became real.
Creating 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮, 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲—not just a facility, but a home.

And somewhere along the way, Oranea stopped being an institution.
It became a living, breathing ecosystem.

Today, 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝟳𝟱.
𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵—𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.

This work has never been easy.
It tests patience. It stretches belief. It forces you to redefine what progress even means.
Sometimes progress is a skill learned.
Sometimes, it is simply showing up again.

Receiving the Social Welfare Award from the management association (GMA) on International Women’s Day is deeply meaningful—but not because of the recognition.

Because it pauses you for a moment… and lets you see how far something has come.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 who trusted us when it was difficult.
𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 who chose commitment over convenience.
Every individual at Oranea who proves, every single day, that growth looks different—but it is always possible.

Still building. Still learning. Still far from done.
