Hydro Magus has been entrusted by KSEB with the construction of Upper Kallar Hydroelectric Project on EPC basis. The work on this project commenced on 09 December, 2016 with a ceremonial prayer session followed by conducting the first blasting for boring out the Tunnel in the hill. Hydro Magus team of Engineers can be seen directing and supervising the project work.

Hydro Magus accomplished the er****on of the draft tube assembly of Tiga Hydro Project located in Kano, Nigeria this month. Other construction activities are in full swing of progress at site as seen from these snap shots captured at site.

Hydro Magus has been awarded the Turnkey contract for ETC ex*****on of entire Hydro-Mechanical Equipment and the Electro-Mechanical Equipment of Tiga Hydroelectric Project in Nigeria. The project comprises of one unit each of 8MW vertical Kaplan & 2MW Horizontal ‘S-Type’ located in the state of Kano, Nigeria. The ex*****on work at this project site is commencing by mid-September, 2016.

Hydro Magus has secured EPC contract for construction of Upper Kallar Hydroelectric Project in Kerala, India. The ex*****on of the project has been started at the project site that involves complete civil works including construction of Weir, Reservoir pond, Tunneling, Power Channel, Forebay, Penstock Anchor Blocks, Power House, Tail Race & channel, Access Road, etc.; Hydro-Mechanical works including supply & er****on of Penstock, Intake/ Draft Tube Gate, Trash Rack, etc.; and Electro-Mechanical works including supply/er****on/ commissioning of Turbine, Generator, Transformers, Switchyard, associated auxiliaries and Balance of Plant, etc.

A new office was established for Hydro Magus in in Kathmandu, Nepal. Puja ceremony on the office inauguration was organised by the Hydro Magus employees who visited Kathmandu for establishing the office.

Last month, Hydro Magus secured a contract for Renovation & Modernisation of 87 years old Sundarijal Hydro Plant in Nepal. The work involves replacement of all equipments in the Power House apart from upgradation of Civil & Hydro-Mechanical components on EPC basis. Here are a few snaps from the contract signing meeting.
