The recent decline in voting percentages is a cause for concern, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced voting rights awareness. An informed electorate is crucial for a thriving democracy, and every vote is vital in shaping our future.
Social work students may step up to address this challenge across the nation. Through community outreach, street plays and engaging activities, they may work effectively to increase voter participation. Their efforts will not only inform but also inspire citizens to exercise their voting rights and make their voices heard.
students recently organised a vibrant rural community outreach program in Jamalpur village, Gautam Budhha Nagar, to raise awareness about the importance of casting votes during general elections.
By supporting these initiatives, we can reverse the trend and ensure a more vibrant and representative democracy. Let’s encourage and amplify the efforts of these future leaders in increasing voter turnout!
