All of us have been extremely lucky, to be part of a time, wherein, there is sufficient resources available at our disposal, for us to reach out and seek help. While not everyone is equally supporting and welcoming of the liberty we experience today in this regard, nevertheless, the brighter picture remains, that no one has to go through all of this alone. With tones of helplines, online forums and initiatives, that are available today, it has now become possible to treat a mental illness in a way that the concerned person is able to deal with the situation at hand and simultaneously not feel ashamed of it.
Let’s make it a point to be better listeners and help our friends in need, this World Mental Health Day.
