On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, the students of Litera Valley School, Patna enthusiastically participated in a special yoga session along with their teachers and parents.

The event witnessed active participation from all, as students performed various yoga asanas with dedication and discipline, promoting the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle. The presence of parents and teachers made the celebration even more meaningful, reinforcing the message that yoga is a way of life that unites families and communities.

Litera Valley School, Patna Dominates at 41st Patna District Badminton Tournament
13–16 June 2026

LVS shuttlers came out swinging and delivered a championship run at the 41st Patna District Badminton Tournament.

Headliners:
Srija pulled off a double crown — clinching the U19 Girls’ Singles in straight sets 21-15, 21-06, then battling back to win the Women’s Singles 20-22, 21-18, 21-12.
Asadullah Karim & Kishlay sealed the U13 Boys’ Doubles title with a gritty 16-14, 15-12 finish.

Clutch performances, clean finishes, and serious composure under pressure.

Huge congrats to Srija, Asadullah, Kishlay, and Yagyansh for putting LVS on top of the podium. A big congratulations to the coach Shubham Sir for guiding and motivating the team. This is what hard work looks like.

Next stop: bigger courts, bigger wins. Keep going!

♟️ Litera Valley School, Patna proudly turned into the grand arena of strategic brilliance as it successfully hosted the prestigious 'Bihar State Sub-Junior FIDE Rating Chess Championship 2026' from June 6 to June 10, 2026! The school auditorium buzzed with intense intellectual energy as 250 exceptionally talented young minds representing 28 districts across Bihar battled it out across the checkered boards, featuring 185 players in the Open Category and 69 in the Girls' Category. Highlighting the tournament's scale, the top 10 boards were broadcasted live, capturing every masterstroke of the field's 85 FIDE-rated competitors. The grand finale reached a spectacular crescendo with the arrival of Chief Guest Mr. Jitendra Rana, IPS (IG, Central Range, Patna), alongside LVS Chairman Mr. Amit Prakash, School HM Mrs. Sujata Bhadani, and elite dignitaries from the All Bihar Chess Association, who honored the top performers and cheered on the top 4 finalists from each category as they advanced to represent Bihar on the national stage. The memorable event concluded with a proud rendition of the National Anthem, sealing a magnificent celebration of discipline, patience, and youth sportsmanship!

Out of 55 teams & 53 individual participants across Bihar, LVS secured a Top 5 spot in both team & individual categories.

Litera Valley School is delighted to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of Master Ryan, the Commonwealth Youth Chess Championship 2026 (U-18) Champion, who was recently felicitated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Samrat Choudhary Ji, and awarded a cheque of ₹22 lakh in recognition of his outstanding accomplishment.

Adding to this proud moment, Litera Valley School had the privilege of hosting the Bihar State Sub-Junior (Under-15) Chess Championship, organized under the aegis of the Bihar Chess Association. The prestigious tournament witnessed participation from more than 250 young chess players from 28 districts of Bihar, making it one of the largest youth chess events in the state.

Ryan's remarkable achievement and selection to the Indian Chess Team served as a source of inspiration for the young participants competing at the championship.

Shri Amit Prakash, Chairman, Litera Valley School, congratulated Ryan on his phenomenal success and reiterated the school's commitment to nurturing talent and promoting excellence in sports alongside academics. He expressed confidence that Ryan will continue to make Bihar and India proud on the international stage.
