Today ITI, celebrating World Youth Skills Day in association with ACCI and CII

Shri T.K. Krishnamoorti, Deputy Chief Engineering, ALHW conducted classes on "Coastal and Harbour Engineering" for the trainees of "Construction & Woodworking" at ITI, Dollygunj

The Government of India had launched ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ to be observed from 25th Sept. to 02nd Oct. 2014. The Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Dollygunj has also participated in the mission of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” with great enthusiasm. Altogether around 300 trainees and 70 staff members of this Institution contributed in Shrama Dhan of massive cleanliness drive with motto of “MODEL CLEAN INSITUTE” for these Islands. The trainees and staff cleaned the whole campus which includes toilets, washrooms, gardens, buildings, workshops, offices, road side, hostel building, staff quarters and in near surroundings of campus etc. The ‘Swachh Bharat Shapath’ was also administered by all the staff and students on 02nd of Oct. 2014 at 09.45 AM in the Institution campus on the eve of 150th “Gandhi Jayanthi” which was followed by collective shramadhan. We have made up our minds to continue this mission in our campus by devoting at least two hours a week for maintaining and cleaning our campus and see to it that our campus is absolutely clean in future days to come.

A State Level Job Fair will be organized at Govt Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Dollygunj on 13/05/2014 at 10:00 AM for the skilled tradesman in the field of Security Guard, Welder, Hospitality Sector and Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning trades etc for their placement. All concerned Passed trainees are Invited.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, possessing educational qualification prescribed below for appointment of under mentioned post purely on contract basis at Govt. Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Dollygunj, VTI, Bakultala and ITI, Car Nicobar. The selection to the said posts will comprise of Written Test and Personnel Interview. The details of post and set wise syllabus for the written test can be downloaded from the website of A&N Administration i.e. www.and.nic.in and can also be had from Academic Cell (CTS) ITI, Dollygunj on any working days.
