A Partnership Rooted in Care, Learning, and Wellbeing!
Today marks a meaningful milestone as Pimpri Chinchwad University and Aarohan Wellbeing Centre formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), bringing together academia and mental health practice with a shared vision of creating healthier, more resilient communities.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Santosh S. Sonavane, Vice Chancellor, PCU, Ms. Niraja Ingle, Founder, Aarohan Wellbeing Centre, Mr. Vijay Mahale, Centre Head, MindAid Clinic, and Prof. Ruchu Kuthiala, Dean, School of Sciences.
This collaboration, initiated by the School of Sciences, is more than a formal agreementβit is a commitment to nurturing wellbeing, expanding learning opportunities for students, strengthening community outreach, and creating meaningful spaces where knowledge and compassion come together.
We look forward to a journey of shared learning, growth, and impact as we work together to promote mental health and holistic wellbeing.

Day 1 of the 3-Day Introductory FDP on Universal Human Values (UHV) at PCU!
Pimpri Chinchwad University successfully inaugurated the 3-Day Introductory Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV) under the guidance of AICTE and NCC-IP.
The program commenced with Saraswati Puja and the inauguration ceremony in the presence of Dr. Santosh S. Sonavane, Vice Chancellor, PCU, Dr. Anil S. Maheshwari, Registrar, PCU, and Dr. Anju Bala, Director β Student Development & Welfare (SDW), PCU.
The distinguished resource team included Dr. Yashvant Patil, Resource Person β NCC-IP, AICTE, Dr. Anita Mane, Co facilitator and Regional Coordinator Western Region, AICTE, and Dr. Pandurang Bhise, Observer AICTE, who shared valuable insights on happiness, harmony, ethical living, and value-based education.
Welcoming the participants, Dr. Anju Bala, Director β Student Development & Welfare (SDW), PCU, highlighted the growing need for ethical decision-making, harmony, and holistic development in education. Dr. Anita Mane, Resource Person β NCC-IP, AICTE, emphasized the importance of inculcating human values in students, while Dr. Yashvant Patil, Resource Person β NCC-IP, AICTE, advised PCU leadership to develop a university as living model of UHV by establishing UHV cell.
In his presidential address, Dr. Santosh S. Sonavane, Vice Chancellor, PCU, underscored the vital role of educators in shaping responsible citizens and fostering multidisciplinary learning aligned with the vision of NEP 2020.
The first day engaged participants in self-exploration, happiness, prosperity, and understanding the foundations of a fulfilling lifeβcreating a meaningful beginning to a transformative three-day journey.
