Tension is not only a physical problem. It is an audible one. A tense hand can make the tone harder, the rhythms uneven and the phrase restless. This is why technical issue should not be separated from listening. The sound tells us what the body is doing.
The DNA of your sound carries the signature markers of your technique and tension. Paying close attention to tension will automatically improve your technique and sound.

A lesson can make a problem clear in five minutes.But that does not mean the problem has been solved.The teacher can show the method. The student still has to do the repetitions. Sometimes a piece reaches the stage where nothing is obviously wrong.
