Today at Delhi Public School Roorkee, the tiny tots of Classes I, II, and III welcomed the summer vacations with great excitement and cheerful smiles! 🌈✨

The classrooms were filled with laughter and happiness as students enjoyed a fun-filled Summer Celebration before the holidays begin. 🏖️🌸 From creative clay modelling activities 🎨🧱 to energetic dance moments 💃🕺, every child participated with enthusiasm and joy.

The highlight of the day was the delightful fruit party 🍎🍇🥭, where students shared their colourful tiffins, juicy mangoes, and refreshing fruits with their friends, spreading the beautiful message of sharing and togetherness. 🍽️❤️ Fruity drinks 🧃 and cheerful lunchtime celebrations made the day even more special.

A day full of fun, friendship, creativity, and sweet summer memories! ??📚✨

Our talented students of Classes 4 and 5 showcased their incredible speaking and presentation skills in the Story Telling Competition and Advertisement Presentation Competition. From expressive storytelling to innovative advertisements, every performance reflected confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm. 💫

Delhi Public School, Roorkee conducted an awareness program on 'Drug & Substance Use and Social Media Safety' to educate students of Classes VI-XII about healthy and responsible behavior.

Drug and substance abuse among teenagers is a growing concern. The use of to***co, alcohol, va**ng products, and harmful drugs can negatively affect physical and mental health, academic performance, and relationships. Peer pressure, stress, and lack of awareness are common causes. Students were encouraged to avoid harmful substances, participate in positive activities, and seek guidance from parents and teachers whenever needed.

The host Ms. ANSHIKA BABBAR highlighted the importance of social media safety. Students learned about risks such as cyberbullying, online scams, identity theft, and excessive screen time. They were advised to keep personal information private, use strong passwords, avoid interacting with strangers online, and report abuse.

The Inter-House Volleyball Match, filled with energy, teamwork, and fierce competition, was organized on 19/5/2026 for Classes XI–XII Boys 🏆
