The Senior Department Girls, in collaboration with the Social Science Department, organised "Faith Meets Freedom," an impactful programme centred on the theme of "Triple Talaq." A powerful celebration of awareness, empowerment and informed dialogue, the event featured compelling speeches, a courtroom skit, stirring poetry, an engaging debate and musical performances. Through these presentations, students explored issues of women’s rights, justice and equality with remarkable confidence and sensitivity.

Congratulations to Khadijah of 8th Orange for securing 3rd Position in the District Srinagar Cycling Event held at Islamia College, Hawal, Srinagar.

Representing the school alongside six fellow cyclists, Khadijah showcased determination, grit, and sporting excellence. The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Tehmina Yousuf as the Chief Guest.

G.V.E.I won the first match against St. Xavier High School by 2–1 in the Pre Subroto Cup 2026 held at Gurgaon.
In the second match, our team played against Gurukul High School, Rohtak. Despite a determined effort, we were narrowly outmatched by 1–0.

We are proud of our young footballers for representing G.V.E.I with passion and commitment. The journey continues, and so does the learning!

Through Literary Voyage, our Grade 5 students discovered valuable life lessons from the book Who Moved My Cheese? From sharing favorite takeaways to connecting the book's message with real-life experiences, G.V.E.I witnessed a memorable celebration of reading, reflection and learning.

At G.V.E.I, the folk theatre play “Jaageer” by Shahkaar Cultural Society under Ministry of Culture, Government of India captivated students with its powerful portrayal of Kashmir’s social history, celebrating the richness of our language, theatre, and heritage.
