A plantation drive was successfully conducted by the students of Islamic Educational Institute Kanidajan in collaboration with the Department of Soil and Conservation, Sub-Division Charar-i-Sharief, highlighting the importance of afforestation and environmental protection.
The initiative aimed to create awareness among young minds about the urgent need to preserve and nurture our natural surroundings. Students actively participated in planting saplings, demonstrating their commitment towards a greener and healthier future.
The drive was inspired by the famous saying of Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani (Alamdari Kashmir R.A), “Ann Posi Teli Yeli Wann Poshi” (Food will last as long as forests last), emphasizing the deep connection between forests and human survival.
Such initiatives reflect a collective responsibility towards environmental conservation and serve as a step forward in building an eco-conscious society.
