LED Talk on Computational Thinking & AI Held at Sunbeam School, Sultanpur
21 May, 2026In compliance with the latest CBSE circular under NEP 2020, Sunbeam School, Sultanpur organized an LED Talk on “Integrating Computational Thinking & Artificial Intelligence into Daily Teaching” on Thursday, 21st May 2026.The event was graced by two distinguished resource persons: Dr. Arvind Kumar Tiwari, HOD, Computer Science, KNIT Sultanpur, and Dr. Huma Praveen, HOD, Computer Science, KNIPSS Faridipur. Dr. Tiwari demystified the four pillars of Computational Thinking — Decomposition, Pattern Recognition, Abstraction, and Algorithm — with subject-wise classroom examples. Dr. Praveen engaged teachers with hands-on unplugged activities, offline AI tools, and ready-to-use prompts that require no high-end infrastructure.Around 65 teachers from leading schools of Sultanpur district actively participated in activities like Paper-based Machine Learning Game and Decision Tree Exercise, making the session highly interactive and practical.Principal Dr. Sharanjeet Kaur thanked both experts and said, “Our goal is to take 21st-century skills to every classroom. Today’s session has given our teachers both direction and confidence.”In the final segment, teachers from Sunbeam School presented their action plans on integrating AI tools like Curipod, Magic School, ChatGPT, and TeachMateAI into lesson planning, assessment, and differentiated instruction. The presentations reflected a strong commitment to implementing what was learned, starting next week itself.The LED Talk concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among educators to make AI a partner, not a burden, in the teaching-learning process.
