The school celebrated Father's Day on 15 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was organized to honour fathers and strengthen the special bond between fathers and their children.
The programme began with a warm introduction highlighting the importance of fathers in our lives. This was followed by a beautiful poem dedicated to fathers, expressing love, gratitude, and respect. The students then presented an acrostic on the word FATHER, creatively describing the wonderful qualities that make fathers so special.
The celebration became even more exciting with a variety of bonding games designed for father and the child. These activities encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and lots of laughter. Several fun games were also conducted, creating a cheerful and lively atmosphere for everyone present.
The event concluded on a heart-warming note when the children presented a handmade paperweight to their fathers as a token of love and appreciation. The fathers were delighted by this thoughtful gesture and cherished the special keepsake.
The Father's Day celebration was a memorable experience filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. It strengthened the bond between fathers and children and left everyone with beautiful memories to treasure.

The Student Council Elections were conducted at Delhi Public School Tapi on 16 June 2026 for students of Classes VI to XI. A week-long election campaign was organized prior to the voting day, during which candidates actively presented their ideas, vision, and plans through speeches, posters, and interactive sessions.
Students participated enthusiastically in the democratic process by casting their votes responsibly and supporting their preferred candidates. The election was conducted smoothly under the guidance of the school authorities, ensuring a fair and transparent voting process.
The activity promoted leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and awareness of democratic values among students. It provided a practical learning experience and encouraged active student participation in school governance.

Class VI students enthusiastically celebrated Bagless Day in alignment with the experiential learning approach advocated by the CBSE and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, engaging in a series of exciting hands-on activities designed to promote creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and life skills on 13 June 2026.
The day commenced with the Heritage Detective Activity, where students explored India's rich cultural heritage by researching various monuments, collecting interesting information, and presenting their findings in groups. This activity enhanced their research, communication and presentation skills while fostering a deeper appreciation for the nation's historical legacy.
Adding an element of curiosity and excitement, students actively participated in the Mystery Box Activity. Through observation, inference and logical reasoning, they attempted to identify hidden objects, thereby sharpening their analytical and critical thinking abilities.
The highlight of the day was the Cooking Without Fire Activity, during which students prepared delicious and nutritious chaat. This engaging experience helped them understand the nutritional value of different ingredients, the importance of healthy eating habits and essential food hygiene practices. The activity also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and practical life skills.
The Bagless Day celebration provided a meaningful platform for experiential learning, enabling students to connect classroom knowledge with real-life experiences while developing essential 21st-century skills in a joyful and engaging environment.

DPS Tapi participated in the 2nd Inter National level Karate Championship Organised by SSKAI Sh*to-Ryu Sports Karate Association on 5-7 June 2026 at Rajasthan. The students displayed remarkable confidence, perseverance, and sportsmanship throughout the championship. Their disciplined approach, sharp techniques, and competitive spirit were a testament to their dedication and rigorous training. The winners are:

We are delighted to share that Mugdha Patel (Class VII-A) delivered an outstanding performance in the Under-14 Girls Category, achieving the following accolades:
1st Position in 50mtr Backstroke and 200mtr Backstroke, 2nd Position in 100mtr Backstroke, 3rd Position in 200mtrand 400mtr Freestyle. Her remarkable achievements reflect her dedication, perseverance, and sporting excellence.

he Cool Quenchers Activity was conducted at Delhi public School Tapi for students of Classes VI to XI during the first week of June 2026. Students participated enthusiastically in activities such as Summer Fruit Cake Making, Fruit Art, Mango Rabdi, Healthy Bowl Challenge, Healthy Fruit Punch, and Mint Blast.
The activity promoted healthy eating habits, creativity, and awareness about the nutritional benefits of seasonal fruits. Students showcased their culinary skills and enjoyed learning through fun-filled, hands-on experiences. The event was a great success and was appreciated by all.

The students of Classes IX and X organized a Maths-Mela on 6 June 2026, showcasing innovative models, charts, and games based on various mathematical concepts. The exhibits covered topics such as Probability, Parabola, Linear Equations in Two Variables, Trigonometry, Arithmetic Progression, Circles, Clinometer, Statistics etc.
Teachers, parents, and students from other classes visited the exhibition and appreciated the participants' creativity and understanding of the concepts. The event was a great success, helping students develop interest in mathematics, confidence, communication skills, and teamwork.
