At KIS - CBSE, Bhayandar, we believe that behind every successful learner is an empowered teacher! Recently, our dedicated team of Pre-primary teachers participated in an insightful workshop led by Ms. Madhuri Sharma, Academic Coordinator for Foundational and Preparatory Years, focused on the art of adapting the 3-line ruled format in the preschool classroom.
Transitioning from plain paper to ruled lines is a pivotal step in a child’s writing journey. The workshop focused on:
Consistency: Standardising the approach across grades to ensure a seamless transition for our learners.
Tactile Strategies: Innovative ways to make “staying within the lines” a fun and stress-free experience for preschoolers.
A huge thank you to Ms. Madhuri for sharing her expertise and to our teachers for their constant drive to refine their craft. We are excited to see these strategies come to life in our classrooms!

Empowering Educators: The Art of Reading
Our teachers recently stepped into the shoes of learners for an enriching workshop on Developing Reading Skills, led by the insightful Ms. Madhuri Sharma.
It wasn’t just a session of listening; it was a vibrant exchange of ideas! Our educators actively participated, sharing creative strategies and expert insights on what foundational reading skills look like in the early years. From phonemic awareness to the magic of storytelling, the energy was truly inspiring.

Our little learners of Grade K1 at KIS - CBSE, Bhayandar made “meaningful connections” in more ways than one! Our learners dived into a vibrant, hands-on activity designed to master Uppercase and Lowercase letter recognition.
By physically matching the letters using colourful strings, our learners not only learned the alphabet—they also refined their fine motor skills, enhanced hand-eye coordination, and built the confidence to navigate the world of reading.
Watching their faces light up as they successfully “tie” the letters together is a beautiful reminder that when we make learning tactile and playful, it stays with them forever!
Our Nursery learners from KIS - CBSE, Bhayandar dived into joyful discovery with sponge and water sensory play. Through splashing, squeezing, and soaking, learners explored the magic of water while engaging their senses in a fun and safe environment. This activity strengthened fine motor skills, enhanced hand-eye coordination, and built early scientific understanding as little ones observed how sponges absorbed and released water. It was a refreshing, hands-on experience that turned playtime into meaningful learning, sparking curiosity and creativity in every child.
