🌟 Speak & Spark – Day 2 Highlights 🌟

Today's session began with an inspiring Thought for the Day presented by Bhadra, setting a positive tone for the class.

We then enjoyed a storytelling session on The Emperor's New Clothes. To bring the story to life, the children enthusiastically performed it as a drama. Their expressions, confidence, and teamwork were truly commendable, and they did a wonderful job portraying the characters.

To encourage creativity and critical thinking, the students were challenged to imagine and write an alternative ending to the story. It was exciting to see the variety of ideas and unique perspectives they came up with.

Another engaging day filled with imagination, expression, and learning! ✨

*Saturday Activity Circle - Juniors*, June 20

The F.U.N. Project 's *Saturday Activity Circle* for Juniors kicked off with Story Time. Today, we read the book, What's Neema Eating Today by Bijal Vachharajani. Neema is a little girl who loves to eat! And, more importantly, she loves to eat local, seasonal fruits most of all 😍. From mangoes in the summer, to purple jamuns in the monsoons - Neema has no shortage of fruits to eat!

We followed story time with a discussion on our favourite fruits - our kids favourites varied from the local jackfruit and mango to blueberry, mulberry and strawberry 😍

Keeping to the fruit theme, today's game was fruit Pictionary 😊 The kids took turns drawing fruits for everyone to guess πŸ˜€

For art time, our kids did colouring, join-the-dots activities and collage making.

During free play our kids chose to play Carroms, jigsaw puzzles and we even organised a mini scavenger hunt for one of our participants upon request 😍

Thank you all for coming and see you next week πŸ™‚

πŸ”‰πŸ”‰ Please note - our next Saturday Activity Circle will be on next Saturday, June 27

*Saturday Activity Circle - Seniors*,
June 20

Today, we had a very artistic participant who enjoyed our art segment on watercolor techniques.
Our discussion was on the topic Back to School - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. For our participant, the best part of the new school year is that all her teachers are very good and she also got to reunite with all her friends! The bad part was having to wake up early to go to school!

Our book discussion was on the Tintin comic Tintin In Tibet, by HergΓ©.

For Game Time we played Pictionary. Since our participant was an artist, the game turned out to be much more fun and intense than our usual game of Pictionary.
