It is an honor and privilege to join Dr. K. N. Modi University as Vice Chancellor/President. With over 30 years of professional experience spanning academics, research, administration, and industry, I remain committed to building an institution that nurtures innovation, leadership, discipline, and excellence in higher education.
My academic journey includes a Ph.D. and M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University (now IIT-BHU), along with an E-MBA in Human Resources and Healthcare Management. Throughout my career, I have served as Pro Vice Chancellor, Director, Principal, Professor, Head of Department, and Research Mentor at several reputed universities and engineering institutions across India. I have also worked in the biomedical industry with leading organizations, gaining valuable exposure to technology, innovation, and management practices.
I have guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, published research papers in reputed journals, received AICTE-funded projects, and contributed to conferences, workshops, patents, and institutional development initiatives. My experience in NAAC, NBA, AICTE, UGC compliance, research promotion, and academic governance will help strengthen the university’s quality standards and national reputation.
My vision for the university is to create a vibrant learning ecosystem focused on academic excellence, advanced research, skill-based education, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and strong industry collaboration. I believe that education should not only prepare students for careers but also develop socially responsible and ethical citizens. Together, with the support of faculty, students, staff, and stakeholders, we will strive to make the university a center of excellence recognized nationally and globally.

The Department of Pharmacy at Dr. K. N. Modi University organized a heartfelt farewell program to bid adieu to the final-year students. The event was filled with enthusiasm, emotions, and memorable moments, celebrating the journey and achievements of the outgoing batch.
The program commenced with an inaugural address by Dean Academics, Dr. J. P. Dubey, who encouraged the students to uphold the values of dedication, professionalism, and lifelong learning in their future endeavors.
The Principal of the Department of Pharmacy, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Ahuja, guided the final-year students with his inspiring words and extended his best wishes for their bright and successful future. He appreciated the contributions of the students to the department and motivated them to excel in their professional careers.
The farewell was marked by a series of vibrant and engaging performances by the junior students. These included dance performances, musical presentations, poetry recitations, and a public awareness program, all of which added color and emotion to the occasion. The presentations reflected gratitude, respect, and fond memories shared with the seniors.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Manmohan Sharma, Dr. Shashank Tiwari, Mr. Ritesh Upadhyay, Dr. Sukhdeep Singh, Ms. Jyoti Devi and other faculty members of the department, who joined in celebrating the occasion and blessing the outgoing students.
The program concluded on an emotional note, with students expressing their appreciation for the guidance and support received throughout their academic journey. The farewell served as a memorable send-off, leaving behind cherished memories for both juniors and seniors alike.
