Our founder, Naomi Menon spent a few days at The Little Republic school in Trivandrum where she got to interact with the teachers, parents and students. The Little Republic school is building an inclusive space for all learners and we are happy to partner with them on this journey.

Our founder and director, Naomi Menon, was recently recognised by the University of Glasgow as one of the highly commended nominations for the ‘World Changing Alumni Award 2022’. She was recognised for her work to spread the philosophy and practice of inclusive education in India.

The award is an annual University of Glasgow honour, which recognizes and celebrates the achievements of alumni who have graduated within the last 15 years and made a major contribution to their field. Naomi graduated from the University in 2015 with a M.Ed in Inclusive Education. Day 1 and 2 of 'Towards New Perspectives', a workshop conducted by Naomi Menon for the facilitators of Makkala Jagriti. These 23 participants work in different child and young adult settings. We focused on topics like individual development, understanding behavior and communication, personal development and so on.

We have a few slots open for online sessions currently. We are looking at slowly opening up to physical classes by next year.

InclusivEd is organising a baking program, *Blend the rules* for neurodivergent children between the ages of 9 to 14 years. The entire course will be over a period of 2 months, every Saturday at 11am. All sessions will be online and having an oven at home is required.

The classes will include safety and hygiene practices, an introduction to baking, a step-by-step process of learning recipes and much more! Only 5 children for our first batch!

So welcome aboard and bake with us!
