🌍 A fantastic experience at ERACON 2026! 🇨🇾🚀
At Smart teachers play more, we never stop learning and connecting. Over the last few days in Paphos, Cyprus, we have been part of ERACON 2026, the go-to annual congress for Erasmus+ coordination. 🇪🇺
What are we bringing back home with us?
🎯 Impactful Mobility & Global Pathways: We learnt that Staff Mobility is no longer a “box-ticking exercise”; the current EU trend demands measuring its real impact on the institution. Furthermore, we analysed how to create more flexible, global partnerships that go beyond the traditional Erasmus framework.
🏛️ Straight from the European Commission: We received direct insights from the EC Directorate-General regarding upcoming quality standards: less bureaucracy but a much higher bar for participant support and monitoring. We also looked into the latest Mobility Barometer, which will be key for future EU funding.
🤖 AI, Inclusion & Management: We dived deep into Artificial Intelligence methodologies to draft ultra-competitive funding proposals. On top of that, we gained insights into benchmark initiatives like the EU-GANOM project (recognising administrative staff) and the D.E.F. Project (digital tools for labour market inclusion).
🎪 Live Networking & Our Stand: We were right at the heart of the action at our exhibition stand, promoting the Smart teachers play more active learning methodology to a fantastic reception. We wrapped up by participating in a live workshop, mapping out funding and designing consortiums for the 2026-2027 cycle.
Amongst many other things!!
And of course, we managed to capture some spectacular photos and videos whilst enjoying the rich history and beautiful sea in Paphos! 🌊🏛️
We return fully inspired and ready to channel all this knowledge into our projects, continuing to drive active, global, and digital education forward. 🚀

Why did we create the Smart Teachers Play More London Conference?

After more than 10 years of training teachers across Europe, we wanted to create something that brought together the things we value most:

We don’t change the curriculum. We change how children and teachers experience it.

Academic learning remains at the centre. Through movement, play, wellbeing, creativity, and connection, we explore ways of making learning more active, engaging, inclusive, and meaningful.
