Yesterday, the Megadeth machinery rolled into Ferrara Italy, and It tore the stage apart, but the real madness happened backstage.
​I got to face the man himself, Dave Mustaine.
​Most people just know him for the music icon he is, but the man is a Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt too. It was an absolute honor to greet, with one of my all-time metal icons, to hand-deliver a couple of Tribe Jiu-Jitsu tees to him straight from Italy, and to introduce him and the band to the local cuisine. It’s unreal where the gentle art can take you, from serata mats to chilling with metal royalty.
​A massive shoutout to Alberto Marchetti for pulling the strings and making this legendary link-up possible. Huge respect to Dave Mustaine, the whole Megadeth crew ,Professor Reggie for being incredibly welcoming, and to Lollo for tearing it up with me on a day that is permanently burned into my memory.
What a day.

Today, at the FIJLKAM / UIJJ instructor training course, I didn't just give a lecture: I even had a chance to retrace a lifelong journey.
My presentation focused on teaching methodology and new instructional tools, but above all, we discussed the responsibility and sensitivity that the role of a jiu jitsu teacher entails. Sharing thirty years of absolute dedication to studying and spreading Jiu Jitsu in Italy was a deeply rewarding moment for me.
If I close my eyes and go back to the 1990s, I see a young man who loved this discipline in an Italy where there were very few of us. I would never have dared to imagine that one day I would become an Instructor for a CONI federation. And yet, here we are: an incredible adventure that continues to surprise me.
A sincere thank you to those who make all this possible: to our President Dario Bacci, to Andrea Carotti, and to the tireless Massimiliano Monaco for their trust and for wanting me by their side once again.
As the train takes me back to Milan, I look out the window and reflect: giving your absolute best every single day, while sorrounding yourself with the right people, can lead us toward horizons that initially seemed impossible tò reach. I hope to have left a seed of curiosity and a stronger sense of certainty in the hearts of all the participants.
