Stay hydrated in this heatwave!

Check in on yourself, your little ones, and any elderly relatives throughout the day, as heat affects them fastest.

Keep water close, take breaks in the shade, and don't wait until you feel thirsty to drink!

Su***de Prevention Training – Building Skills to Save Lives

Su***de is a complex and deeply personal issue that affects individuals, families, and communities. Recognising the signs, and knowing how to respond, can make a life-changing difference.

Our Su***de Prevention course equips participants with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to identify, understand, and respond to suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

Through a combination of evidence-based learning and real-world strategies, participants will:

* Understand the fundamentals – risk factors, warning signs, and the impact of mental health, trauma, and substance misuse.

* Assess risk effectively – using proven tools to create safety plans and crisis response strategies.

* Intervene with confidence – applying the C.A.R.E (Connect, Assess, Respond, Empower) model, active listening, and de-escalation skills.

* Support after a crisis – learning postvention approaches to promote healing, resilience, and reduce future risk.

* Create a supportive environment – encouraging openness, reducing stigma, and connecting people to the right help.

This course is about empowering people to step forward, have difficult conversations, and provide hope when it’s needed most.

Proud to share this from our team at Lifeline Group

Awareness is the easy bit. Doing the work is harder, and it's what we train people for.

Confidence, before the moment needs it.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week.

The theme this year is Action. Which we like, because awareness on its own doesn't do much.

Our team takes action every day. Quietly, without posting about it. Sitting with someone. Listening properly and turning up again, tomorrow and the next day.

This is what care looks like.

Out at Les Hoûmets Care Home this week, delivering Emergency First Aid training to their team.

Care staff are often the first on the scene in an emergency. Having the skills and confidence to act can make all the difference.

A brilliant group to work with. Thank you for having us.

We deliver on-site training across Jersey from First Aid to Mental Health and beyond. Take a look at all the courses on our website.
