We are pleased to highlight an important upcoming engagement—the Maritime Education and Development Lecture, which will take place on April 8 in Antigua. The event will feature presentations from both the President of the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU), Prof. Andrew Spencer, and the President of the World Maritime University (WMU), Prof. Maximo Q. Mejia Jr.

The participation of both institutional leaders underscores the importance of this event as a high-level international forum focused on advancing maritime education and development. It reflects the continued strengthening of partnerships within the global maritime community and further reinforces CMU’s leadership within the global maritime education space.

Ahead of the Lecture, both Presidents also had the opportunity to meet with the Governor General and Prime Minister of Antigua, further reinforcing the significance of this engagement at the highest levels of leadership.
