So here is the flyer for the ‘KGN 13 Amsterdam weekender’ we are heading to Holland – we will be parting in Amsterdam on Friday and on the road in Rotterdam on Saturday. Sunday is left for anything you choose to do (if you manage to get up after the day before). Now please note that the package price for this weekender starts when you arrive in Amsterdam. For information and assistance on options of getting to Amsterdam, obtaining visas for the Netherlands, costumes, travelling from other countries and interested in attending and further information – please do not hesitate to contact me. We will be sending you FAQ and the Itinerary for the ‘weekender’ shortly. So guys hope to see you all there and please forward to all who may be interested :-)

Through out the year 2011 there are a few people who have worked hard in making The Kingston 13 Foundation what it is today and what its trying to achieve and you/ your Organization is one of them. You have shared in our visions and dreams of giving back value to the Community while nurturing our children, young people, adults and elderly to the best of our ability. We have given them hope, dreams and aspirations to become the best and none of this would be possible without your help and assistance.

So we say thank you for your hard work and willingness to help and pray that 2012 will be even more prosperous than previous years. God’s richest blessings and May this New Year bring added prosperity and success to you.

Events

The proceeds raised from the UK Launch held last year November was spent in organising and carrying out a Residents Appreciation and Community Fun day held on Friday 20th January 2012. The event was well attended and extremely appreciated. Gratitude extended to all who came out to support.


Community Centre

We are still in dialogue with a particular company and persons regarding acquisition of a local premise to house the Community Centre – once these dialogues have materialized you will duly be informed. We are still in need of additional funds to see this venture through so if you are able to contribute please feel free to do so after all it’s a worth while cause. In the mean while suggestions and advice on the same are welcomed.


Official Jamaica Launch Party

Look out all and stay tuned, we are hoping to host our JA launch of The Kingston 13 Foundation in January 2013 – yes in Jamaica so please start planning – further information surrounding the planned event will be announce later so remember the weekend of 19th -20th January is booked !!!!!

The KGN13 Family and friends will be having their pre-Christmas dinner /lime tonight Wednesday 14th December @ Heart & Soul Restaurant - 512 Lea Bridge Road, London E10 7DT. Pass through if you are free for an relaxing evening of fun, food, a quick game of Dominoes and/or Cards or venture downstairs to the disco room where we will have our very own DJ - M J on the 1s and 2s playing the best in Reggae, Rear Groves, Soul, Lovers Rock, Bashment ect.

It's a road trip!!!!

The KGN13 Family and friends are going on a mini adventure. We are on our way Bristol!!!! yup we are heading down to St. Paul's to take in the sights and enjoy the night life. We are also heading down to support a friend of the fraternity - Dougie British will be holding his year to year 'Hustlers Ball' @ the Malcolm X centre in St. Paul's, Bristol on Friday 2nd December 2011. As a supporter of our charity and the projects we have been undertaking within the Kingston 13 areas - Part proceeds of DB's event will be donated to us to assist us with the ongoing works being carried out.

Package Price £70.00 per person (Includes Transportation to and from Bristol, 4* Hotel Accommodation (based on 2 people sharing), Entrance fee to the Friday Night Party, Alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments and snacks will be served on the journey to and from Bristol)
