The Al Hassan Workers' Center offers recreational opportunities, skills training, and other supports to factory workers in Northern Jordan.
There are an estimated 40,000 workers in Jordan’s garment industry. Roughly 80% of these workers are foreign, traveling to Jordan from primarily South Asian countries. Migrant workers often face communication barriers that leave them vulnerable to exploitation.
