At Miale Stars Academy, we intentionally nurture a strong reading culture by creating meaningful moments with our learners beyond the classroom.
After-lunch reading session with the Director was a wonderful opportunity for our children to enjoy both English and Kiswahili story books as they continue to develop:
📚 Reading fluency and confidence
🗣️ Storytelling and communication skills
💡 Creativity and imagination
🌍 Language understanding and vocabulary
These sessions also help our learners grow in concentration, listening skills and a lifelong love for books. We remain committed to raising confident readers, thinkers and communicators through engaging and enjoyable learning experiences. ✨
Learning, Planting, Growing!
Our Grade 4 learners took part in a wonderful planting project where they planted and cared for different crops and plants, including vegetables. 🌿🥬
Through this hands-on activity, learners developed responsibility, teamwork, and an appreciation for agriculture and environmental care while learning the importance of healthy living and sustainability. 🌍💚
