Dear intellectuals, happy fathers day...

Sometimes life leaves us wounded, exhausted, and covered in the mud of our failures, mistakes, disappointments, and pain. There are moments when we feel abandoned, forgotten, and too broken to be found. We may think we have wandered too far, fallen too hard, or failed too many times.
But the Good Shepherd never stops searching for His lost sheep.
Just like this little lamb trapped in the storm, covered in mud and unable to save itself, many people are struggling through the storms of life. Yet even in the darkest night, Jesus comes with His light. He does not wait for us to become perfect before He reaches out. He comes to us in our weakness, our sorrow, and our brokenness.
The mud on the lamb does not stop the Shepherd from loving it. The storm does not stop Him from searching. The darkness does not stop Him from finding what belongs to Him.
No matter how lost you feel today, Jesus knows where you are. No matter how heavy your burden is, His love is greater. No matter how far you have wandered, His grace can still reach you.
"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?" β Luke 15:4
The Shepherd is still searching. The Shepherd is still calling. The Shepherd is still waiting.
You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved.
Even when you feel lost and broken, Jesus still comes looking for you.

THE SHOCKING REASON JOHN FELL AS DEAD BEFORE JESUS
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HUMANITY STANDS BEFORE THE FULL GLORY OF CHRIST?
Written by Evang Bright Ikedichi
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY SO THAT YOU CAN UNDERSTAND, DON'T SKIP ANY PART!
One of the most powerful and humbling moments in the entire Book of Revelation occurs in the very first chapter.
The Apostle John, the disciple who walked with Jesus, ate with Jesus, spoke with Jesus, and leaned on Jesus' chest during the Last Supper, suddenly finds himself face to face with the glorified Christ.
What happened next surprises many people.
John did not run toward Jesus.
John did not shake His hand.
John did not start a conversation.
Instead, John collapsed.
Revelation 1:17 says,
"And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead."
Why did John fall as though he were dead?
What did he see that caused such a reaction?
And what does this teach believers today?
The answer reveals a powerful truth about the majesty, holiness, and glory of Jesus Christ.
JOHN SAW JESUS IN HIS GLORIFIED STATE
Many people are familiar with Jesus as He appeared during His earthly ministry.
They remember the humble carpenter.
They remember the gentle teacher.
They remember the suffering Savior hanging on the cross.
But in Revelation, John sees something different.
He sees the risen, glorified, reigning King of kings.
Revelation 1:14-16 says,
"His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
And he had in his right hand seven stars... and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength."
This was not weakness.
This was not humiliation.
This was Christ revealed in heavenly glory.
The full weight of His majesty overwhelmed John completely.
THE HOLINESS OF GOD EXPOSES HUMAN FRAILTY
When sinful humanity encounters the holiness of God, a deep awareness of personal weakness often follows.
Throughout Scripture, we see similar reactions.
Isaiah saw the Lord and cried out,
Isaiah 6:5
"Woe is me! for I am undone."
The prophet Daniel experienced a similar encounter.
Daniel 10:8 says,
"For my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength."
Even strong men of God became weak when confronted with divine glory.
Not because God desired to destroy them.
But because His holiness revealed how small and limited mankind truly is.
John's reaction reminds us that God is not ordinary.
He is holy, majestic, powerful, and worthy of reverence.
JESUS IS FAR GREATER THAN MANY PEOPLE IMAGINE
One of the dangers of modern Christianity is becoming too casual in our view of Christ.
Many people speak of Jesus but rarely stop to consider who He truly is.
The Jesus of Revelation is not merely a historical figure.
He is the eternal Son of God.
He is the Judge of all the earth.
He is the One before whom kings, rulers, angels, and nations will one day stand.
Philippians 2:10-11 says,
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow... and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."
John's fall reminds us that Christ deserves worship, honor, and holy fear.
THE BEAUTIFUL PART OF THE STORY
The account does not end with John lying on the ground.
Something wonderful happens next.
Revelation 1:17 says,
"And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last."
The same Jesus whose glory caused John to collapse reached down and comforted him.
This reveals an incredible balance.
Jesus is both majestic and merciful.
He is both King and Savior.
He is both Judge and Redeemer.
His holiness should cause reverence.
His mercy should produce gratitude.
THE SAME HAND THAT HOLDS THE STARS TOUCHES HIS PEOPLE
Think about this carefully.
The hand that holds the seven stars touched John.
The hand that rules heaven touched a frightened servant.
This is the heart of Christ.
He does not reveal His glory merely to terrify His people.
He reveals His glory so they will understand who He is and trust Him completely.
Even today, believers who feel weak, afraid, discouraged, or overwhelmed can find comfort in the same Lord who comforted John.
Hebrews 13:8 says,
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
The glorified Christ still cares for His people.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR BELIEVERS TODAY
John's experience teaches several important lessons.
First, Jesus is far more glorious than human words can fully describe.
Second, God's holiness should inspire reverence and humility.
Third, every believer should approach Christ with worship and respect.
Fourth, the same Jesus who displays divine power also extends mercy to His children.
Finally, one day every person will stand before Him, either as Savior or as Judge.
THE COMING DAY OF REVELATION
John fell before Jesus in worship and awe.
One day the entire world will see Him.
Revelation 1:7 says,
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him."
For those who belong to Christ, this will be a day of joy and victory.
For those who reject Him, it will be a day of accountability.
The glorified Jesus whom John saw is the same Jesus who is coming again.
And every human being must decide what they will do with Him.
A SIMPLE PRAYER I WANT YOU TO PRAY RIGHT NOW
Lord Jesus,
Open my eyes to see Your greatness and glory.
Help me never to treat holy things lightly.
Teach me to walk in reverence, humility, and obedience.
Thank You for being both powerful and merciful.
Strengthen my faith and prepare my heart for Your return.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
TEACHING SUMMARY

4. Although Christ's glory is overwhelming, He is also compassionate and merciful toward His people.
5. John's experience reminds believers to worship Jesus with reverence, humility, and sincere devotion as they await His return.

In Exodus 26, God commanded that a thick veil be placed inside the tabernacle to separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place.
Behind that veil was the presence of God
symbolized above the Ark of the Covenant.
Only the high priest could enter there,
and only once a year with a blood sacrifice.
The veil was not simply decoration.
It was a reminder.
It reminded Israel that God is holy
and that sinful people cannot
casually enter His presence.
Sin created separation between God and man
and the veil stood as a visible
picture of that distance.
Many people today want a version
of God who is loving but not holy.
But Scripture shows both.
God is merciful, but His holiness
is so pure that sin cannot stand before Him.
But the beautiful story of the gospel is this:
God did not leave the veil closed forever.
In Matthew 27:51, when Jesus
died on the cross, something shocking happened,
βAt that moment the curtain of the temple
was torn in two from top to bottom.β
It was torn from top to bottom
because God Himself opened the way.
The death of Jesus accomplished
what human effort never could.
No amount of religion, good works,
rituals, or personal sacrifice could
remove the barrier of sin.
But Jesus, through His blood,
made a way for sinners to come near to God.
The torn veil means that access
to the Father is now opened through Christ.
We no longer approach God through
earthly priests, animal sacrifices,
or human performance.
We come through Jesus alone,
the perfect sacrifice and
our true High Priest.
And because of Him, we do not
have to live distant from God anymore.
We can now pray.
We can now draw near.
We can now come boldly before God,
not because we are worthy, but
because Christ made the way.
The veil that once declared separation
now points us to the Savior who did not just
open the door but became the only door,
the only way Himself.
