Hudson Savala, Co-Founder of BigFoot Arts, leads a team of artists creating sustainable art solutions — eco-friendly home décor, murals, and furniture made from recycled materials.

But beyond the brushstrokes, Hudson is building something bigger. He spearheaded a waste diversion initiative repurposing plastic waste and conceptualized the "Art for Change" mural projects — turning art into a tool for environmental advocacy and community impact.

BigFoot Arts has been featured in Mental Health Awareness campaigns, beach cleanups, art exhibitions, and entrepreneurial programs, partnering with organizations across Kenya to push waste management and climate awareness forward.

Carrying his father's legacy forward, Hudson isn't just creating art he's creating a platform where other artists can find purpose, sustainability, and a voice for change. 🌍🖌️

Many entrepreneurs don't fail because they lack passion, they fail because they become too attached to their ideas. What starts as dedication can quietly turn into certainty, causing founders to defend assumptions instead of testing them. In his latest blog post, Lawrence Kosgei explores why critical thinking is one of the most important skills for entrepreneurs and how questioning your own beliefs can help you build solutions that truly matter. Read the full article and discover why the best founders fall in love with the truth, not just their ideas.

We built something for you. 🖤

Introducing Founders Circle, the space inside Swahili Design Lab where Founders gather, connect and grow.

This isn't just a meetup.
It's a room full of founders who get it.
Who are building it.
Who refuse to do it alone.

Founders Circle is where the real conversations happen the ones that move your business forward,
the ones that remind you why you started,
the ones you've been looking for.

We're just getting started. And we want you in the circle.

👉 Follow to stay in the loop. Drop a 🖤 if you're ready.

Ferry Porsche couldn't find the car he dreamed of. So he built it.

Lawrence Kosgei visited the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany and came back with something more than photos — a reminder that the world doesn't need more people who can describe what should exist. It needs people willing to go make it exist.

The gap between those two groups isn't talent. It isn't resources. It's mostly just the willingness to start.

We slowed down a bit at our second FoundHer Circle meetup… and honestly, it was needed. 🎨🌊

“Paint Your Journey”

Brought together women founders and creatives to just reflect, share, and create. No pressure, just real conversations about the journey, wins, challenges, and everything in between.

The ocean setting made it even more special. Something about the waves and open space just helps you clear your mind and be present.

A simple reminder from the day: as you build, don’t forget to take care of yourself too.

Most people focus on making things look perfect. Few focus on making them move.

Momentum is the hidden force behind designs that actually work, the difference between something that sits still and something that grows, adapts, and creates real impact.

If you’re building anything, this is worth understanding.
