Today history was made as we visited the National Assembly and Senate for your information the Parliament has 349 members comprising of 290 elected MPs from constituencies.
47 women representatives (one from each county).
12 nominated members representing special interests. While our Senate has 67 members. Comprising of 47 elected senators (one from each county).
16 nominated women senators.
2 youth representatives (male and female).
2 representatives of persons with disabilities.
