For us, this production was not only about making a film it was about creating a real learning ground for our students.

Our Spectrum Film School students had the opportunity to be on a live feature film set, take part in the production process, shadow experienced professionals, learn set discipline, observe departments in action, and interact with some of Kenya’s respected actors and filmmakers.

This is what practical film training looks like: learning by doing, growing through experience, and being part of real stories that matter.

After five intense days of storytelling, sacrifice, teamwork, and purpose, Kenyan screen legend Raymond Ofula shared a deeply inspiring word with the cast and crew, reminding us why stories matter, why discipline matters, and why this industry is built by those who keep showing up.

Scars of Justice has been more than a film shoot. It has been a classroom, a family, a movement, and a reminder that great stories are carried by great people.
