Kyuna Kindergarten

Today we had a beautiful little visitor... It's so important that our children learn to respect all animals and this comes from connection and understanding. We said gentle hellos, talked a little bit about chameleons and released this pretty lady back on to the avocado tree.

Did you know ??? Only the male Jackson's chameleons have the iconic three brown horns (females rarely have any). They use these horns for territorial "jousting" matches, locking heads and trying to push rival males off tree branches. 😮

Our FS2 children have been waiting patiently as the tiny seeds they planted have been busily growing underground. Beetroot juice anyone?

🌍✨ This week we celebrated African World Heritage Day across all sections of the school! 🇰🇪

Our children explored the vibrant cultures and diverse regions of Africa — from East to West, North to South — learning about landscapes, food, music, and animals through stories and hands-on experiences.

On Tuesday, the garden came alive with activity as all ages joined together for a day full of creativity and fun — from marathon running and pyramid building to necklace making, storytelling, and African drumming. 🪘🎨🏃🏾‍♀️

It was a joyful celebration of learning, culture, and togetherness — a journey across Africa without ever leaving our school grounds. ❤️🌿
