From October 2025 to January 2026, EducateHers Kenya successfully implemented the Turkana Gender Inclusion Scale-Up Project — building on our 2023 pilot to reach more schools and deepen community engagement across Turkana County.

Together with teachers, youth mentors, parents, and local leaders, we trained 20 youth mentors, 10 teachers, and reached over 250 parents and elders, sparking lasting conversations about the power of girls’ education.

Through storytelling, mentorship, and digital advocacy, we shifted mindsets — increasing awareness of cultural barriers from 49% to 94% within just three months.

✨ We’re proud to continue advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality) — ensuring that every girl in Turkana can learn, lead, and thrive.
