Attention!!!! Attention!!!
Today, on the Day of the African Child, we reflect on our five-year journey working alongside children with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLDs) and ADHD. We've learned that early screening is not just helpful—it is essential.
Far too many children across Africa are missing out on the full benefits of education, not because they lack potential, but because the traditional instruction styles simply don’t work for at least 15% of learners—those with SLDs and ADHD. The shortage of professionals and the high cost of quality screening tools have made early identification a luxury, not a norm.
That’s why we’re taking action.
This month, we’re rolling out our campaign: "Taking Dora on the Road"—a movement to test, get feedback, and refine Dora, our low-cost, accessible, Africa-friendly screening tool for SLDs and ADHD.
We invite parents and caregivers of children aged 6 to 18 to be part of this critical phase by enrolling in the month-long process. Together, we can make inclusion a reality.

We jumpstarted the year at Bright Morningstar Kamulu Bright Morning Star Academy - Umoja 2 The teachers were a curious and engaging lot that made 4 hours of training on a Saturday morning feel like a walk in the park. What puzzles me is whether they were laughing with me, at me, or should I just try this stand up comedy thing... Thank you teacher Job, Mwam Ernest, Shiku Gachengoh for making this possible. I wish you all great success in 2025!!!! Let's make a difference in our own little way.
