Yesterday, we brought together our outgoing and incoming prefects for a special lunch, creating space for reflection, conversation and mentorship.

As the outgoing prefects shared their experiences, lessons learned and leadership insights, the incoming team had the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable guidance for the journey ahead.

At Peponi, leadership is nurtured through strong relationships, support and shared experiences. This transition reflects our commitment to pastoral care, ensuring that every young leader is encouraged, equipped and supported as they take on new responsibilities within the school community.

Before the half-term break, we came together for our annual Prize Giving, one of the most significant occasions in the school calendar and an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, commitment and contributions of our pupils.

From academic success and sporting accomplishment to music, debating, leadership and service, the event recognised the many ways in which our pupils enrich the life of the school. Yet beyond the prizes and awards, it was also a celebration of the values that define our community: kindness, friendship, loyalty and a willingness to support one another.

Prize Giving reminds us that success is not measured solely by results or accolades, but also by character, perseverance and the positive impact we have on those around us. It is a reflection of the strength, spirit and unity of the wider Peponi community and of all those who contribute so much to school life.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

Congratulations to all our prize winners and to every pupil whose efforts, commitment and character continue to make Peponi such a special place.

Life comes in different seasons. Some days your heart may feel tired, even when you can’t fully explain why.

As we begin a new week, our School Counsellor, Jeremy, shares a tender and heartfelt message for every pupil who may be carrying a lot right now. Whether it’s the weight of studies, expectations, or the quiet struggles we sometimes face, this is a reminder that you are not alone.

Throwback to unforgettable Honours Dinners gone by!

Each year, this special evening brings together our graduating class, along with their families, friends and teachers, to celebrate a milestone that marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

From shared laughter to proud moments, these are memories that stay with us long after the night ends.

Tomorrow, we gather once again to celebrate the Class of 2026, a group ready to take their place among a proud and ever growing community of Old Peponians.

As we look ahead to the upcoming Old Peponian Reunion, we are reminded that while school years may pass, the connections, friendships and stories continue for a lifetime.
