The Kangemi Resource Centre recently concluded a three-day training program focused on enhancing teachers' skills in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) for Grade 1-3 teachers from community-based schools (APBET) in the Kangemi informal settlements. This training underscores the importance of teacher upskilling, as competent teachers play a critical role in delivering quality education, ultimately leading to improved learner outcomes and a brighter future for the community’s children.

Access to menstrual hygiene products is essential for young girls, enabling them to attend school consistently and maintain dignity. Menstrual hygiene and education provide girls with the confidence and knowledge needed to manage their health safely, preventing absences and fostering a supportive environment. Addressing this need helps empower girls and strengthens communities.
